Still, his recognizable face appears to give him his distinct presence. To fly, he would have to flap his wings to ascend and stretch his wings out to soar great distance. He is agile in this form, but flapping wings for a long time can wear him out and force him to rest. He is not defenseless in this animal form; his talons can be used as weapons to harass the foes that dare to strike at him.

Descriptor: Elise recites the magical incantation 'Veer Goh!', and places her hand on a living, organic target. They become surrounded by a shimmering, turquoise veil of energy that continually (if somewhat slowly) mends their wounds over the course of one minute. The target can move away from Elise after the initial casting, and the spell continues to heal them for the duration. Notably, this basic healing magic does not work on Undead or Synthetic lifeforms; only organic flesh.

Like Elise's other main spells, she can only cast Cleansing Veil three times before needing to meditate for a few hours to refocus her arcane energies. Additionally, Elise can only focus the magical energies of Cleansing Veil on one person at a time.

Descriptor: Using the arcane lore of unknown stars, Elise can tap into the leylines surrounding an individual soul and copy one ongoing effect currently active on that target onto another target she can see. This metamagic formula connects the Native (the person with the copied effect) and the Transitor (the person receiving the copied effect). To initiate the link, Elise must recite a short incantation, as well as remain stationary while she holds concentration on the link. Both the Native and Transitor must remain within sight of Elise, and have an unobstructed path between them for the silvery, ghostly thread to remain intact, though it can bend and twist to a limited degree.

Elise cannot maintain this metamagic link forever, even with sustained concentration. The thread cannot remain stable for more than thirty seconds, and if the original ongoing effect on the Native target ends, it will end for the Transitor as well. Additionally, while it is easy to copy easily visible and understandable effects (such as being on fire, or being able to fly), Elise cannot transfer effects that are not easily distinguishable or visible (although her Ephemeris Curse can overcome this, given enough preparation time.) For the purposes of Mimic, the copied ongoing effect must still be part of an Ability of 400 points or less.

Mustang personally lead troops during the Ishvallan uprising and served as a field commander for both Markovian forces and unaligned allies during the Siege of Markov. He is generally regarded as an effective leader and competent tactician, particularly on an offensive.

Descriptor: This is it. It's THE ONE. A legendary artefact, right here. The SAME guitar that was busted across the sweet angelic face of Sutor Woriya themself. Shudder in fear, ye mortal morsels, for Nico Cinder is coming to melt your faces off. The guitar functions as a normal acoustic guitar would, but when it senses negative emotion, like anger or despair or the like, it roars with the intensity of a thousand angsty teens. Never underestimate the power of music - Nico can whip up a sicknasty riff, I mean he can REALLY put those power chords to work, man. So much so, in fact, that allies within earshot of his grindy, dulcet tones are inspired to ignore the weight of their sins and armor. It takes a little time to start ripping and tearing into the notes, though, say about ten seconds into a song for the effects to take place. Further more, it IS just a guitar. It can be broken, stolen, and fall prey to other unfortunate fates. Allies affected move like people possessed. Possessed by the power of ROCK. They ignore their aching, torn-up flesh prisons and fight harder than their means would normally allow. Open up that fucking pit.

Descriptor: Elise points a closed fist towards a flat, solid surface that she can see, and rapidly opens her hand, chanting 'Kaprik Ohrn'. The surface radiates a violent, shimmering light for a brief moment before violently shattering into thousands of jagged, lacerating fragments with a tremendous boom. The shattered surface will then have a large, 8 foot diameter hole in it that can be passed through if the surface is less than 8 feet thick (such as a wall or floor). Thicker surfaces (such as the ground) will sustain a large, rough divot in a vaguely spherical shape.

Anyone caught in the blast is likely to suffer crippling injuries from the exploding shrapnel, and Elise cannot control the exact shape of the debris field or hole created. The opening created only lasts as long as Elise maintains concentration on sustaining the created passage. As soon as she released the spell, or her concentration fails, the scattered debris will rapidly fill in the created passageway...potentially causing further damage or trapping anyone inside of the created space. This spell does not work on pliable or reinforced surfaces such as metal.

Descriptor: Beatrix is afflicted with Blood Magic from an unknown source. It comes with benefits. She has a huge pool of stamina to draw from and she is very nimble on her feet. Her body is extremely versatile and capable of taking more way damage than your average person. Beatrix can stay in the fight as long as she wants or until she sustains enough damage that it literally becomes impossible for the magic to keep her going and she falls unconscious. As she takes damage and her blood magic rushes to heal it, it takes its toll on her stamina. The more injury she sustains the more and more fatigue she gets and her magic's ability to keep her alive becomes less and less effective until it runs out and stops completely resulting in either her death or loss of consciousness.

The healing factor only works so well. If a major amount of damage is received it is likely to be overwhelmed and cease to function efficiently, leaving Lucien exposed or without it for a time.

Some of your math is a bit off, however. The Ranged Modifier only adds +50 per rank, so that's only +150 for both effects.

Also remember that the individual price of an Affect can't be reduced below 50 per rank, so the Debuff and Damage effects will cost 150 essence, for a total cost of 300.

Finally, you wording needs a little bit more detail. How long does the ice binding last, exactly? Does it completely eliminate movement? Are there limits to how big the target can be? If Izaneus drops concentration, does the ice wear off immediately? These things need to be specified.

Also, on a personal note, I would recommend trying to find alternative Negative modifiers to the 30 second activation time (see: Limit - 10 foot cube size, Damage Weakness: Fire, etc.). That's a while to be standing around for a relatively low-rank ability!
