Descriptor: Often referred to by Aster as 'the curse of manual breathing', given its effects. It simply quite literally shuts off or interrupts a person's natural autonomous reflex of breathing regularly, forcing them to manually and consciously breathe. As may be expected, this can prove to be quite a distraction, and especially in prolonged or drawn-out intensive activity can quickly wear out and exhaust someone more quickly than normal due to the likely shortness of breath or irregular breathing. The curse can be activated with just a few quick words, so long as she can directly see her intended target, and often seems to manifest as a sudden, mild suffocating or sharp shortness of breath until they catch on.

The effect lasts, in theory, until manually dismissed....but most bodies and people are more than capable of adapting to it eventually, the ability of living beings to heal and self-regulate winning out over the minor magic in the end. After only a few minutes, at best, the breathing of a target will begin to self-regulate as their autonomous reflexes start to re-wire themselves into working again, and the curse peters out. Against such targets, further uses of the spell will have diminishing effects and duration as they acclimate and grow used to it.

Naturally, of course, this spell is only of any use at all against targets who need to breathe. And as with most of the more complex workings of magic Aster is capable of, she requires her focus, the silver wolf and pentacle amulet she wears around her neck, to be able to use it or maintain it once cast.

Descriptor: When Nealaphh needs to pass unnoticed, it can suppress the sensory processing of brains around itself in order to pass unnoticed. Nealaphh does not actually disappear from Sight, or move without noise; it simply prevents that information from leaving the eyes and ears.

This does mean that electronic surveillance, or indeed the eyes of undead, can see Nealaphhn just fine, since their eyes aren't dependent on a functioning nervous system.

She lacks any direct choice of what size her targets will become beyond subjecting them to this effect or releasing them from it, but it is rarely a problem thanks to the versatility it can afford; she often uses it to keep an array of useful items and tools, or even living allies, close by and on her person if a situation calls for it.

STAFF EDIT: While this seems to be mostly fine, the inability to choose exactly what size a target might become seems to be more of a 'chaotic' modifier than a 'limited' one, unless you have a very specific sizing in mind.

Descriptor: Altanis is descended from a powerful line of demonic and hellish creatures, and shares in some of their inhuman resistances, able to simply exist without issue in environments and conditions normally intolerable or outright lethal. Her internal anatomy and makeup is also largely different, and her body runs as much on magic as it does biological process, making most of her ‘vital’ organs not necessarily vital, especially compounded with many of them not being where one would expect thanks to her physical form and composition.

In addition to her remarkably robust constitution, Altanis's body and hide are remarkably durable. Despite usually wearing little, if anything, in the way of actual clothing or armor, she can still more or less shrug off most mundane and conventional forms of attack and harm. Weapons or attacks of an obviously holy or blessed nature, regardless of their faith or empowering source, can bypass this surprising resilience however; similarly, attacks of a magical nature may not be able to fully bypass her resilience in such a manner, but they can certainly harm her more easily. She is also notably susceptible to many traditional demonic weaknesses, such as being burned or scalded by the touch of silver or cold iron to her bare skin, and things like holy water or salt can be highly caustic and damaging if ingested -- by choice or otherwise -- and she lacks the ability to directly cross solid lines of salt, and can be bound and trapped -- at least temporarily -- by a devil's trap or other demon-trapping arcane methods.

Descriptor: While she might take offense to the term ‘healthy as a horse’, it is nonetheless a more than accurate assessment of her physical condition.
The required coordination to manage the somewhat awkward shape of her natural, centaur form has given her increased levels of not only overall precision and manual dexterity, but a great deal of spatial awareness and staggering reflexes to supplement it and help prevent an errant misstep.
She is in truly excellent shape, and can maintain arduous physical activity for grueling periods without rest or even proper nourishment if the situation calls for it.
Her larger size is all natural, for better or worse, and while it cannot be changed and it does make her a somewhat larger and more obvious target and more difficult for her to hide, she considers it a point of pride and an asset for intimidation purposes.
She also possesses a surprising degree of physical speed, not unlike that of an actual horse. Unlike the mortal animal, however, she can not only reach, but easily maintain speeds that even prize racehorses would struggle to reach at a dead sprint. While this might be attributed to her horse-like natural form, she can still maintain this speed regardless of her current form or shape.
Complimenting her physical speed, she can make truly spectacular jumps and leaps as well, able to cover dozens of feet in both height and distance in a single bound.

Descriptor: The 'DUSK' system is a 'ghost' cybernetic platform, one with no tangible functionality by itself, that acts purely as a Conduit between Jay's senses and his powers, via the rest of his phantom-powered cybernetics. DUSK connects to his optic nerves, his auditory nerves, his brain and spinal cord. The acuity of his sight and hearing are enhanced, and his natural abilities to detect energy signatures from high-output power sources and living things is amplified and given a more parsable format in his brain. Furthermore, his innate telepathic ability is also amplified, enabling him to communicate telepathically with Entities other than Aliphetros, and to directly interface with communication systems.

For drawbacks/limitations, his vision is still reliant on his glasses, without them he can see only about as well as an average human. His hearing is highly sensitive to extreme pitches both high and low. Ultrasound (high) and Infrasound (low) of sufficient volume can cause him significant pain and disorientation, and some sounds towards the extreme ends of human-audible sound can have this same effect.

Though his telepathic link with his counterpart Aliphetros is constant, extending His telepathic ability to anyone or anything else requires him to concentrate.

Descriptor: The Long Night Protocol is a cybernetic subsystem in Jay that allows his phantom power to replicate Aliphetros' draconic regeneration, and in so doing, push human adaptability to its logical limit.
Heat and Cold, while still occasionally uncomfortable; now can't cause him any significant harm.
As for his resistance to toxic enviroments
Once you've been neck deep in a cyanide-laced caustic solution specifically designed to burn through everything short of bone, other toxins seem harmless by comparison.

It's partially responsible for the 'Zenkai' effect that Jay has, (which provides a convenient canon explaination for levelling) wherein after recovering from significant damage or physical stress he becomes significantly more powerful, the other part of which is the nature of Phantom Power itself.

The Long Night Protocol is also the reason Jay's cybernetic parts can keep up with his 'evolving' body as he grows, adapts and changes.
His cybernetics contain a swarm of self-programming 'memory metal' nanomachines that deconstruct and rebuild his implants to perfectly suit his body, or replace damaged parts. They respond to the information on his body contained in his energy, and they work fast.
Otherwise all of his past Transformations would have ripped him apart as his endoskeleton remained static as he changed.

The 'Passive' in the name is to distinguish this, which is always operational (unless Jay dies or is somehow narratively 'weakened'.) From other applications of the Long Night Protocol (such as those aforementioned transformations) which I might purchase later as separate abilities with 'active' effects.

But instead, he can perform a burst in mid-air, launching him to further distances. However, it's a short distance, but this move can go even further when he's locked on to a target, like a spring, and especially an enemy.
