She only has one of them at any given time in her hair, and once thrown she must either recover it, or procure a new one.

Description below.

TL;DR:
A complex gas-operated system used to fire grappling hooks. There are 2 of them, and they’re mounted on separate arms on both sides of the wearer’s waist. They can be controlled separately.
Can be used to pull the wearer towards the anchor point.
Cable length of 30 meters.
Gas is used to fire the hooks and pods or pull the user towards an anchored hook.
Former uses gas slowly. Latter uses quickly.
Once out of gas, neither can be done. Change canisters or recharge them.
Controlled via controls in her sword grips.
If you shoot someone with one, it’s akin to being shot with a gun.
Can be used to fire different kinds of pods. (Separate moves, e.g. Flashpod.)
If the hook isn’t attached to something, you can’t pull yourself toward it. Limited.
The gas is a finite resource. Finite.

Full explanation of the 3DMG system:

Note: Musashi’s is heavily customised, but to give you a general idea. And yes. It is the maneuvering gear from Attack on Titan.

The 3D Maneuvering Gear, henceforth 3DMG, is something Musashi acquired and had customised to her needs whilst on Kraw.

A gas-operated multipart system designed to offer the user unparalleled mobility in a 3D space. Through this the user is able to go in any direction, with the use of grappling hooks that are attached to wires. The user is then pulled toward the anchoring point of the hook.

The entire system is worn by the user through an elaborate, whole body harness that helps ensure stability and reliability.

Musashi’s 3DMG is custom fit for her, the sayas of her swords on her left hip, and a pair of gas canisters on the right. This allows a weight balance to be kept whilst preserving the ability to wear her swords in a traditional daisho-pairing.

The system is comprised of four primary parts:
The Main Body
The main body consists of two independently operating axles that contain the steel wire and hooks used by the system. These axles operate independently of one another, giving the user perfect control over each hook.

The reach of the grappling hooks is about 30 meters.

In addition to this, the main body contains the fan section, further elaborated later.

The hooks are kept in place on two separate, extended arms. These two arms are on both sides and on level with the user’s hip. They can rotate independently.

The hunters of Kraw have modified these arms to contain small secondary systems used to shoot different kinds of debilitating ammunition, known as pods. This ammunition shall be purchased as separate abilities.

The hooks can be fired either alone, or simultaneously and offer a great degree of control.
If the system is out of gas, a hook cannot be fired. See gas canisters -section for more information.

Shooting another person/being with a grappling hook is akin to shooting them with a gun.

The Fan Section
A subsection of the main body. The gas is blown through the fan section to generate a force to either launch the grappling hooks, or pull the user toward anchored ones at will.

The Operating Device


The operating device consists of the hand grips for the swords, which have the controls for the 3DMG system. They’re connected to the hook launching arms through protective tubing that contains the control wires for the triggers.

There are Five controls in the handle: One large lever at the front of the handle, two pull triggers built into the grip, a thumb stick at the back, and a selector at the side.

The lever is used to reel in the cable and hook when held.

The top trigger is a two-stage one. First stage fires the corresponding grip’s grapple hook (left grip for left hook, right for right). Second stage releases the hook from where it’s attached to.
If the hook is not attached to anything, it will be pulled back to its holding arm.

Bottom trigger releases gas through the fan section to help propel the user forward in the air.

Thumbstick controls the angle of the grappling hook arm.

The selector on the side of the grip allows the user to cycle through the different pods and fire the selected one.
Gas Canisters
These hold the gas that is used to launch the hooks as well as propel the user forward. These can be either replaced with new ones, or filled with pressurized air, once empty.
Musashi’s harness carries two tanks, one for each of the hooks. Both of them are connected to the fan system.

The canisters are short lived and one of the 3DMG’s true challenges is using one’s gas wisely. While conserved usage of only the hooks can net a thrifty user a hefty amount of air time, using the fan-system recklessly depletes the canisters very quickly.

Descriptor: Weiss focuses spiritual energy into her arms in order to temporarily cause them to become much more difficult to damage. Attacks hitting her arms while this protection is active will glance off with minimal damage, and feel like striking metal - should a strong enough attack be made with a metallic weapon, sparks will even fly off as the two collide, as though the blade had struck stone or iron. This protection requires Weiss to actively focus power into her arms, and thus is not on all the time. It can block things that hit with area of effect, but it takes a lot of focus and is not active when Weiss is not consciously using it. She cannot focus on much else beyond basic actions while this ability is being used.

Young tech genius Hiro Hamada has crafted a suit of battle armor for Mickey to wear in battle. It fits his entire body, with a sleek red and gold paint job, and provides a multitude of benefits to him. It allows the mouse king to survive in insanely dangerous environments, such as super hot and super cold ones, as well as ones that are potentially poisonous -- and SPACE! It also increases his physical strength, whether it be the power of a basic punch or his ability to lift things, and provides him with an immense amount of protection from enemy attacks. He also has thrusters on the hands and feet that allow him to fly, and PLUTA is patched into the helmet, allowing him to communicate wirelessly with allies or use her sensors to find nearby foes. All of these abilities are only accessible to him whilst wearing the Iron Mickey armor; the suit itself takes about ten seconds to fly to and lock in around his body.

Descriptor: Ohm Zui can use their mechanical prowess to make observation devices from their own scraps and the environment around them. These observation devices are small drones that require remote control to reposition. If left alone, they will hover in place indefinitely. They broadcast everything they see within 80 m around them to Ohm, and Ohm can transfer this visual information to other people as necessary. Each drone can also cannibalize itself to create a temporary communicator and battle scanner for a single individual.

Each drone Ohm makes takes a small amount of material and time to assemble. If given infinite time and material, Ohm could continue to churn them out, but each one takes thirty seconds to piece together and activate.

Each drone looks slightly different (moreso if using wildly different base materials) but can be recognised as similar in design.

Descriptor: Like most Cybertronians, Starscream is capable of transforming into a vehicular form. Starscream’s chosen form is that of a jet— an F-16 Fighting Falcon, to be exact. The transformation time is nearly instant between “robot mode” and jet mode, taking perhaps 3 seconds total to accomplish.

Starscream is capable of jet-powered flight while in this alt-mode. Takeoff is nearly instantaneous and he can reach speeds of up to 105 miles per hour, performing agile maneuvers in the air to evade attacks all the while. Unfortunately, because of damage to his frame, Starscream’s legendary flight capabilities are somewhat reduced in that the experience is quite tiring for him.

Descriptor: Once aided by the power of a mystical ring, Shinku was later able to absorb the dark gem's power to grant him superhuman agility. Moreover, the assassin of shadows was granted the ability to traverse the ground in a faster pace than normal beings. Also, he is able to detect the number of sentient beings within 675 feet around him, along with their movement. Each being has their unique signature but identifying those signatures would require him to be able actually meet the target first before accurately knowing who each of the beings are. His sense can go beyond the physical barriers of the place.

Note: This ability upgrades the old Mastery of Shadows and discards Tracking of Shadows
