So I have this idea to make Little Ghost able to switch between a short teen forme and hueg adult forme. I call it Age of Kings because of, well, reasons <.<

Description - Accessing his own self through all possible timelines, bridging the gap through the King's Brand upon his brow, Little Ghost grows into the form of his adult self. Leaving his "teenaged" form behind, Little Ghost grows to a staggering 8 feet in height, his horns growing to a 17 inches in length. Growing proportionally this more than doubles the reach of his Pure Nail as the weapon grows at the same rate with Little Ghost. The end result being, as far as the Pure Nail is concerned, that the weapon acquires a blade length of 5 feet, and an additional reach of 3.5 feet due to his arms, making its total reach 8.5 feet while Little Ghost is in his Adult Form due to Age of Kings.

Growing to his adult form is a permanent shift and it takes 1 minute of concentrated effort. Reverting to his "teenaged" form is an equal 1 minute process. Due to this being a permanent shift until reversed, all posts should be tagged with Adult Form whenever Age of Kings is active.

I am having trouble figuring out how to represent how the Spartans helmet works, since I do plan to have some other NPC Spartan-III summons. This is what I came up with, I don't know how correct it is within the system and need little help with it.

SPI Mark 2 Experimental Operator Helmet has a built in Heads up Display (HUD) to assist Spartan-III’s constant communication. With IFF tags built into the armor it marks out relative locations of allies and linked squad mates. A built in radio suite allows them to verbally communicate over long distances. It also has a built in suite for Taccom/Squadcom/Teamcom (Squad Communication) that allows them to view what their allies see via their armor built in Fiber Optic cameras (These cameras can be extended out to allow them to peak around corners) over short ranges. The HUD also allows them to mark mission objectives as well as points of interest. Built into all helmets are also non-verbal communicators allowing spartans to communicate via blinking red, yellow and green lights.

Within all HUD systems contain a motion tracker that mark out all enemy movements in an 80 foot radius as well as allies, squadmates and civilians as long as they have been properly tagged. The motion tracker tracks all motion surrounding the user. It is used in conjunction with the VISR which outlines enemy, ally, environment, equipment so that it is easier for the user to see. The VISR located in the SPI Mark 2 Helmets are experimental allowing it to also outline units with active camouflage, requiring a button press on the outside of the helmet and a little extra boot time.

The HUD also displays a variety of other information, such as ammo count, Energy/shield gauge, The wearers and squads vital signs, zoom functionality, a targeting reticle that assists users aim. The SPI Mark 2 helmet is all controllable via the users eye movements that allow quick easy access to any of its systems.

Messing around trying to figure out how to do Beat's Soundsurf psych from NEO: TWEWY. If I'm interpreting this correctly, an ability with more than one effect has modifiers applied to each effect individually, right?

Soundsurf

Description: By using his psychic powers, Beat can increase his speed by focusing on the music from his headphones. He can also synch up with willing allies, allowing them to move at the same speeds as long as they stay close by. As a side effect, the psychic synchronization allows all affected allies to move in coordination, having the same awareness of the other people involved in the Soundsurf as they would of their own limbs.

Alright, this is fixing to be something of a doozy of a Summon, so I'm just gonna put it here first to get even some advice before I try getting it approved.

Pattern

Pattern is Shallan's Spren, and it is her bond with him that gives her the surgebinding powers that make her one of the Knights Radiant. Normally the resident of the Cognitive Realm, Pattern's form in the Physical world is a mass of slowly swirling black lines arrayed along some surface, giving the otherwise flat surface a more textured feel. Pattern is mostly separate from the physical realm, thus far nothing in the physical realm is capable of hurting him (in fact, without looking for him, he's relatively innocuous and hard to spot) , the most direct interaction he has displayed is being able to push the pins of a lock to open it. He is capable of moving across surfaces and through small cracks, since he's an amorphous largely 2d figure and while he does talk and make noises (he's actually able to reproduce people's voices almost perfectly, since they are as he puts it, a pattern), his movements along a surface would be silent.

Spren are concepts and emotions made manifest, and so aren't really tied to the physical world in the same way that people are. Pattern is generally not in danger himself, but he requires his bond with Shallan to keep his mental state while in the physical realm.
(None of the above would have any real impacts on Pattern, because he largely doesn't exist in the physical realm. I've already shaved off the immune to pain and space, because if something could hurt pattern, he would be a bit of a baby about it, but it still adds up fast.)

Pattern moves along the surfaces of materials and is flat and amorphous enough to slip under doors or into locks, He is largely undetectable to a casual observer, being silent and scentless, and easily dismissed as a trick of the light if seen on a surface.

SO, setting aside the master skills he has, and accepting the fact that this is a crossover, so the largely immune to the world Spren could be hurt by stuff like anyone else, I'm still looking at almost 4000 essence to re-create Pattern's ability to exist and move around like he does in the books, but I'm not capturing his limitations. I don't see a clean way to showcase that Pattern is virtually an observer of the world. Yeah he can spy on folks good, but he isn't able to move somebody or hurt anyone. I can't really put a Limited on the shrinking since he is able to grow larger than six inches (in the two dimensions he isn't flat, though he has very occasionally formed a small 3d pattern in the air ) and the concealment can't really be limited either because he is capable of being seen or talking to people.
It feels like I'm paying the essence for a much more versatile character than Pattern is. This guy on paper could return to normal human size and interact with the world like any normal human could, but none of his abilities I'm buying really make sense to apply a negative modifier to in showing that pattern can't move anything bigger than the pins of a lock. Could I do Limited (unable to move things larger than a .5lbs) for the Shrinking?
Similarly, he's immune to a whole mess of the "normal human stuff" because he's bonded with Shallan, but I don't think I can apply something like (Limited: Must remain within a quarter-mile of Shallan to retain sentience) to any of the abilities here, this Pattern could ostensibly go to another planet and be fine.
