Here would be the best place to discuss it. As I mentioned, Mima hadn't caught the other errors when she originally approved you Abilities. Now that we've found them, those aren't approved. And the altered versions which you've posted in your Profile aren't approved either. Abilities should not be posted in your Profile before being approved.

If it would make the decision of where to post less confusing to you, I can lock your Profile thread again until we're done here?

If you would like to go ahead and post the Abilities straight into your Profile exactly as I wrote them in my last post here, and post here to let us know that you have done so, you can, and we can consider your character approved.

But what you've done at the moment is post them with the un-edited descriptions, which aren't clear enough in explaining how the Abilities work, and you've also changed the Damage Effects to say "Rank 0" in the Efffects List. Which is wrong. My comment about Damage 0 was that that would be their strength in the hands of a pure soul, because of the Weakness you had chosen.

In Akae's hands, they would still be dealing their normal Damage levels, which is what you are paying for, and what should be shown in the Effects list of each Ability.

No, having it open would be fine. I just have one minor complaint concerning Malaise.

I was thinking of making it a passive ability, meaning it activates as soon as Akae grabs Haishou, without any further steps needed. Would that be okay?

Oh yes, that would be fine.
In that case, you could write the descriptions without the lines mentioning "when Akae is using Malaise", and that would be fine.

Just to clarify, though, would I be correct in thinking that you are happy for other characters who aren't pure souls to also get the Malaise Protection Effect if they manage to steal a weapon from Akae?

A warhammer hidden deep within the Kyoushuku Temple. It is said to have been wielded by the Shinigami warrior Beregendo (ベレゲンド).

Its construction seems to be primarily sunuke wood for both the head and the base of the warhammer, giving it a deep dark brown color. There are studded rings around the ends of the shaft, and cracks are very prominent all over. Within these cracks, there seems to be a deep orange glow. There does not seem to be any obvious mechanism keeping the picks on the shaft. Due to this, it is possible for the picks of the warhammer to be used as tonfa. Following this example, the shaft of the warhammer can also be used as a thick jo staff. Additional damage is provided by any surrounding aragami. When in the hands of a pure soul, it is just a big stick (i.e. Damage 0).

The Haishou weapons have a tendency to attract drifting spirits that hold a penchant for ill will. They grasp at the objects in their invisible forms, as well as the user of the weapon. Their hands are fully capable of deflecting any incoming impact, serving to be just as effective as plate armor. They also enhance the strength of the wooden weapons, causing them to inflict as much damage as their metal counterparts. It is said that the more one grows familiar with Haishou, the more its potent it becomes… If a pure soul were to wield Haishou, the protection and strength from the aragami are not provided, leaving the weapons to be only as effective as they could be in their wooden forms.

If you're not satisfied with those descriptions, you can feel free to post ones you would prefer, and I will approve them if they do a satisfactory job of describing how the Abilities function.
