Azula, formerly Crown Princess-turned-Fire Lord of the Fire Nation, does not play nice when she fights. Prevailing wisdom amongst past associates deems that she most likely suffers from some form of clinical insanity, specifically trending toward psychopathy. She holds no regard for the pain others feel, has no concept of empathy, and in general is referred to as a true sadist.

In addition to not caring if her enemies feel pain, she also seems to find enjoyment in causing it, and so she likes to stretch out those experiences for as long as possible. She's known to torture and maim before or even sometimes rather than outright killing an enemy; it could be said she likes to "play with her food," for lack of a more appropriate phrase.

Azula can release from her two fingertips an orb of flame slightly larger than a tennis ball and launch it across a distance. She is capable of producing blue flames, which are slightly more intense than the flames normal firebenders learn to produce.

Azula launches a bolt of light blue (almost white) lightning from the tip of her fingertips. It is incredibly powerful.

Using her firebending, Azula can launch herself into the air by launching fire from the palms of both her hands at the ground. She briefly hovers, scaling great heights or crossing long distances. This is more akin to a super jump than actual flight. She must retain focus whilst doing so.

Azula can release from her two fingertips a long, consistent stream of fire, across a distance simply by manipulating heat particles in the air with her firebending. She is capable of producing blue flames, which are slightly more intense than the flames normal firebenders learn to produce. This fire continues blasting from her two fingertips until Azula halts the bending. She must retain focus for the entirety of the bending.

Azula creates a large, rotating disk of flame between her hands which she shoots at an enemy or offending object. The disk is vertical, and rolls like a wheel through the air, slicing whatever it comes into contact with in addition to burning it.

Azula leaps into the air and thrusts both her feet outwards, releasing a huge burst of flame from the soles of her boots that fires at the enemy. She’s also capable of shooting from just one foot at a time, but these blasts are slightly weaker, albeit faster to shoot.

When she was degenerating mentally during her final battle against Zuko and Katara, Azula’s sheer power grew, and she gained the ability to simply swipe her hand over the ground and completely wreathe the area around her in bright, sapphire flames, incinerating anyone in her radius. These attacks are swift and fleeting, but they can be avoided by someone swift enough, but Azula doesn’t care to watch for friendly fire — anyone who doesn’t move, gets burned.

Descriptor: Azula has mastered the art of breathing fire, able to open her mouth widely and release a steady burst of flame from it. She obviously must remain very concentrated while doing so, and is left vulnerable to an attack from behind since this is one of few attacks she has to execute with her target directly in her line of sight. The range on this attack is not incredibly far.

Azula is a true tyrant-in-training, capable of bending people to her will through sheer intimidation. She is calm and firm in all of her demands, and has been known to sway whole armies to betray their masters on the basis of fear alone. Being in a new world and having no name recognition has slightly hindered this, but she still has natural talent for it. Since becoming one of the co-rulers of Azgard, her abilities as an actual, boots-on-the-ground dictator have also improved, but (although she would never admit this) the fire princess is still a novice.

Following Dante’s Abyss, Azula sought out the black market to trade for a well-reared creature that could provide her with an ease of transportation over the water planet as well as a ferocious ally in battle. When she stumbled upon Volvagia, she knew she’d found the perfect candidate -- this beautiful, snake-like dragon, with protruding bone on its face to match its sharp, debilitating teeth and two front claws so powerful they can crack concrete.

Volvagia is extremely powerful, if still in her infancy as far as dragon years go. She is able to withstand incredibly high temperatures and is already extremely agile and strong, with hard, scaly skin that protects her from a great number of attacks. She is approximately twenty feet long, and travels about twenty miles per hour on land and forty-five miles per hour in flight. As she has imprinted on Azula, she can hear the fire princess’s thoughts and project her own back to her master, though she cannot accomplish this feat with any other.

Coming soon: fire breathing (can’t afford yet). Also can't fully afford Volvagia yet (about three hundred essence short); will mark in purchasing log when she's officially purchased.
