[Kagami]

She motioned a bit as she was nervous but eventually, she nodded in silence before she would wipe away any tears she felt going down her face with her sleeve before she would look to the doors behind her.

"We should.. get going then!" she spoke up before she would walk up to the doors in a hurry and turned around to Sans. "..that is if we want to get there before sunset so we got a ways to go though because it took me awhile to even get here."

In comparison to earlier, she was calming down and that was a good thing for the skeleton. No fighting or anything, just the two of them off to their next location and she was ready to head out.

 

[Sans]

* fair enough. let's go.

Sans, too, walked to the door and helped push it open. He didn't pry or say anything else. He figured that whatever it was that made Kagami do what she did was best discussed outside of the underground, outside of this place.

As they pushed it open, they gazed into the final room, the same room Sans had teleported into barely a day ago: a field of golden flowers glimmering in the sunlight that poked through a small hole up in the ceiling, where dirt and vines fell loose from.

 

[Kagami]

Upon opening the doors, walking in and seeing the small field of the golden flowers, Kagami was looking around for a bit before she would eventually come to the patch in the middle where she would look up and sighed as she looked to Sans.

"Well, looks like the only way out is up unless you got some plan or two in that skull of yours?" she asked with a cheeky smirk. "We should be happy that it's still daylight out atleast."

Of course, she was teasing with him.

 

[Sans]

* yeah. i got an idea or two.

He promptly sat down on the ground like he was about to play criss-cross-applesauce. He looked at Kagami, his smile big and wide and obviously facetious. It was amazing the amount of different emotions he could convey despite how little he actually changed his smile.

 

[Kagami]

"Sitting? Really?" she asked with a knitted brow as she would briefly lean over in curiosity. "Are you pulling my leg again as usual or is it just me?"

The Beanish was actually a little confused to what Sans was planning but she would regardless stand close to him in case something happened. Additionally, there was also the fact was that she didn't want to miss out on anything important so she was undoubtedly on guard.

 

[Sans]

* my plan...

He closed his eyes, looking almost Zen-like even as he was audibly resisting a chuckle.

* is to sit here...

Another choked chuckle.

* and wait for something to happen.

 

[Kagami]

Kagami glared at Sans for a bit before she sighed, crossing her arms for a bit.

She sighed, "Yeah, good luck on that."

Oh well, atleast she can calm down after dealing with that near fight ordeal and let herself recover after all that happened as she just hopes that he doesn't snooze off or anything because that would more time wasted. Though, her emotions were on the high earlier so it was more or so a breath of relief after the situation but it doesn't stop her tapping her foot impatiently afterwhile.

 

[Sans]

* there we go. something happened.

He immediately stood up before looking up at the shaft of light glowing down upon the flowers.

* hmm... you can fly, right? think you can carry me up?

 

[Kagami]

She knitted a brow as she stopped tapping her foot while she listened to Sans asking her as she sighed.

"Couldn't you teleport or something like that?" she asked before she continued. "Or is there some sort of limit on that to the point that I have to carry you out myself or something?"

 

[Sans]

He shrugged. * not sure. probably could. lot of effort, though.

He looked back to her. * you can get up there, right? doesn't seem so far.

 

[Kagami]

"Yeah, that's not much of an issue." she nodded before she continued, "I mean you did teleport in front and behind me back in Waterfall on two different times while we were traveling the Underground so yeah."

She looked back to Sans with a casual side shrug. "If it fails and you're still stuck down here, I mean, I can get you out easily from above ground and that, so regardless, there's always some way to get out."

 

[Sans]

* could try that, yeah. might as well.

And, with that, in a blink, he was gone from where he was standing and all the way at the top of the shaft of light. He looked down the hole at Kagami.

* hey, whaddya know. it worked. where would i be without you?

 

[Kagami]

'You're welcome I guess?" Kagami chuckled a bit but just as Sans left, eventually the magenta aura would envelop her as she would fly out of the hole and landed in a patch of grass that was right next to Sans, finally outside of the mountain.

"Anyways, besides that, your way is more instant than mine's." she continued as the aura would fade out in time before she would look out to the view of the forest and other surroundings. To shield her eyes from the glare, she raised her left hand over her eyes and looked up for a bit.

Luckily for them, the sun was almost in the middle of the cerulean skies above and at that, she lowered her head, wondering.

"By the current position, I'd say it's almost afternoon..kinda close though."

It was actually nice to be outside again though the strange feeling of electricity had briefly left her however it caused her hair to be a bit messy as that was what static electricity would do to someone's hair.

Soon, she lowered her hand before she looked to the natural surroundings of the mountain and finally, to Sans, "You know, despite things, I'd say that was pretty fun and interesting."

However, something about this, while it was an adventure, she just has this feeling.. a strange odd feeling lingering but the type she couldn't pinpoint right off..

 

[Sans]

* i agree. was fun.

Sans gazed out, out into the distance, the afternoon sun blaring down on the Hinterlands below. It was all warm and peaceful; the sight was just as beautiful as it was when he had first gazed upon it after the barrier fell. Hopefully, with luck, Gaster was out there, or Papyrus, or the kid, or anyone else from his dimension, his home. It would be... odd explaining it all, but there was a lot that needed to be done, a lot of unmaking to remake, a lot of wrongs to make right.

Could this kid help him with that? It was hard to say. Only Gaster really knew, and the only way he could find out where he was was to go to Arcadia. Maybe he'll find something about him there, or, even better, find him there, studying up on magic like the rockstar scientist he was.

He gazed at the kid, snickering a little at their haggard, electrified appearance before recomposing himself.

* well, shall we? daylight's not gonna last forever.

 

[Kagami]

She perked up as she would eventually nod. "Yeah, let's get going. The sooner we get there, the better!"

Kagami would start her trek ahead of Sans all the while with eventually straightening up her hair somewhat. However, the Tall Man and everything else, she wondered if they would return to the mountain or something. Besides, she has a feeling that would be the case after all but that's still something up in the air.

Perhaps in Arcadia, there would be something of interest, well besides the obvious Gaster ordeal and the sorts, she could hardly contain her excitement! However, part of her wonders how Booker has been hanging without her.

..ah, he's probably fine. She's with Sans so there's a chance he's relaxing and probably reading some book or something after all. What's there to worry back in the Valley besides the amount of monsters and dangers that lurk around that place?

Between the fate of the Crossroads and this, Kagami seems to have her hands full for the time being and atleast she's not alone.
