Catrina is an optimistic, wholesome kind of person. She relies most heavily on her ability to reach diplomatic solutions, rather than subduing an opponent with force.
Physical Description:
Cat is an adorably pint-sized human with cotton-candy pink hair. She's almost constantly smiling, and has a tendency to flit about a room like a hummingbird. Catrina doesn't have much of a presence unless directly trying to get/keep someone's attention, but she's also really hard to ignore. She's typically the brightest thing in the room which gets a lot of absent staring or quick glances, even if she's not trying to stand out.

Character History:
Catrina spent her first years growing up in palace life. She was 'best friend' of the princess, chosen for the role due to her father's close relationship with the king. They took lessons together, in everything from poetry to horseback, needlepoint and astronomy. The two were inseparable, and, if not for the clear difference in temperature, practically unidentifiable from each other. So identical, in fact, that forces of all types would mistake the sweet, timid girl for the real princess. It didn't help either, that in a world where fables and legends repeated in unending patterns, that Catrina was the perfect stereotype of a Damsel in Distress, while her princess was a brash and carefree 'Prince-In-Shining-Armour'.
Over many years, Catrina was abducted multiple times, on occasion even through magic portals and inter-dimensional rifts. She made many friends, inside and out of the royal families across the continent, even some bonds unbreakable by death itself. Her optimism rarely failed her, and when it did she had powerful friends to step in - friends from spiderlike Svignette to unspeakably horrific monsters that lived in the gaps between time, to the very same forces that had attempted to imprison her previously.
When she became an 'adult woman' at the prime age of twenty three, Cat left her home world for another that would allow her to keep the gifts of her gods without the constant threat of danger. Living there, with her new family of assorted 'Time monsters', spiderfolk and one dragon she had bonded with over the course of an abduction attempt, she was happy.
That is, until one last dimensional rift to The Crossroads abducted her.

As a stereotypical "Damsel in Distress" Catrina recieved multiple blessings from her gods and similar entities. One such blessing gives her the gift to soothe her opponents instead of quelling their efforts. Being in her presences makes people and creatures calmer, relaxed, and open to the idea of dropping their weapons. This aura extends around her in a bubble approximately 12 feet in diameter. While it generally soothes an attacker's soul, those prone to constant anxiety, paranoia or severe instability may succumb to exaggerated versions of such conditions - and all the side effects such debilitating fear. This aura effects all within the borders of its reach, and can only be removed by leaving the space.

While typically applied only to Dragons and their close cousins, Berrisii's gift allows the beneficiary to communicate with all sorts of reptilian species, varying from snakes and basilisks, to dragons and common lizards.
