The Boo was reminded of Kagami as his eyes lit up a bit but it would be long before he shook his head. "You almost remind me of a particular individual I know of, well more or so someone I view as reckless but she does have a good heart. If you're curious, she goes by Kagami and she is a bit of an eccentric young Beanish."
Eventually, he bowed politely to the duo, "However, it is a pleasure to meet you Gadget and Gizmo."
As the duo were talking about their desire to not only get their errands done, he wondered a bit of this Gaiterra place as he heard of it and when Gadget spoke of return, he froze up a bit. Nobody has ever returned back to their original home from the Crossroads, well not that he knows of especially in the history of the Crossroads. It's practically unheard of.
"While it is noble of you to run such an errand yet to an extent, dangerous, I'm afraid in terms of your origin, there has not been a recorded known way to ever return from the Crossroads. Once you are here, you're more or so have to adjust outside to what you deem as normal to life before coming here." he sighed before he closed his eyes. "This means that whatever condition that wherever this planet is last, all you can hope there's not, metaphorically speaking, an overlooming threatening influence or something has taken hold of it in your absence."
Of course, Booker doesn't know of the conditions of this Gaiterra as he was merely assuming the circumstances.
"I do not know the circumstances of outside the Crossroads nor I ever will unless told of, but if anything, I wouldn't be surprised if said influence comes around into the Crossroads itself since it's a possible chance of such an occurrence especially when there has been instances of outsiders being brought in."
Eventually, he reopened his eyes, furrowed before lowered his head as he continued, "I'm sorry but it is how it is."
He perked up to look at the duo directly again, returning to his normal expression. "However, I can help provide assistance when I can while you are here since it's the least I can do, especially in terms of finding a humble soul that would help you settle in somewhere safe."
A sigh.
"Well, if it's not too crowded, we already have outworlders settling on Nos'Talgia and other planets to avoid the current crisis as we speak."
