I've recently had someone ask me my RL self because I'm suddenly referring to myself as "he" and "his" when messing around on Discord as Totoro, when I used to use female pronouns on OV. So, to stop any confusion before it comes up, I wanted to explain things
I usually refer to myself by the gender pronouns of my characters, especially when messing around in pseudo-IC whether that's as Ammy, Totoro or Mewtwo. Ammy being a girl means I used "she", for instance!
On the other hand, I (as in my IRL self) keep my real and my online self very separate, hence why I don't associate a real name or face to my online presence. As such I'm happy with being referred to as my character (or Ammy, for you OV veterans!) whether it be "he" for Totoro, "she" for Ammy or "it" for Mewtwo.
Does that change anything for 99,9% of you awesome people? ? Probably not but, in case you were wondering now you know. Thanks for reading!
