Character Behavior
Josuke is a savvy, confident, and courageous teenager. Friendly and loyal, his amiable personality helps him make new friends. Josuke's primary trait is his overall kindness, reflecting in his stand known as "Crazy Diamond," who repairs and heals. Agreeable by nature, Josuke isn't as prone to violence as other JoJos and can even calmly tolerate bullying. Josuke is loyal to his friends and loved ones, willing to risk his life for others.
Upon meeting anyone who doesn't display any particularly antagonistic circumstances, Josuke will be polite and friendly to them. He is ready to protect his hometown, Morioh, at all costs. In fighting, Josuke is much more calm and observational, although aspects of his goofiness will shine through. He has sufficient confidence in his own abilities, namely his Stand, but this doesn't extend to Josuke himself since he can still be nervous if things don't go his way. Even if Josuke is gentle by nature, he has no qualms about brutalizing an enemy, and in the case that someone has hurt or endangered a loved one, Josuke will be even more vindictive.
Most importantly, if anyone makes a remark that insults his hair, Josuke will immediately enter a blind rage regarding the circumstances. He becomes much more rude and violent. At the end of winning a fight against someone that despises his hair vocally, they will end up with a battle scar caused by his stand, being fused with an object also caused by his stand's abilities, or beaten up to a bloody pulp.

Josuke was born as a bastard son and having the family Joestar blood within him, tracing to his blood father, Joseph Joestar. For many years, he has lived in Morioh. When he was a child, he caught a life-threatening fever during winter. A terrible blizzard caused his mother to get stuck in the snow by attempting to bring Josuke to the closest hospital. Hope was lost in that awful moment until a stranger with a well-maintained pompadour haircut offered help to free her car from the snow.
He successfully pushed their automobile out of the snow while his mother floored it. Josuke's memory stuck with that savior who saved his life, explaining now why he chose the stylish hair and sensitive to anyone throwing insults at his hairstyle, inflicting his savior. When he became a first-year student in high school, he met Koichi, becoming a great friend. Josuke also crossed paths with Jotaro, who stopped in Morioh on behalf of the Speedwagon Foundation's official business. Jotaro discovers Josuke inheriting a stand named Crazy Diamond, similar to his stand, Star Platinum.
Shortly after, the murdering of Josuke's grandfather happened by a stand user named Angelo. Jotaro accepts the request of help made by Josuke to hunt down the criminal to make him pay for his crimes. They successfully defeat Angelo, giving Josuke encouragement to accepting his grandfather's role to protect Morioh. One day Josuke and Koichi came across an enormous abandoned house home to Okuyasu and his big brother, Keicho. Both brothers are stand users that challenged Josuke in a fight due to Keicho shooting an arrow into Koichi's throat.
Josuke first fought against Okuyasu and his stand, known as The Hand. The fight was tough until Josuke outsmarted Okuyasu, winning the first brawl. For the second one, he faced Keicho to protect Koichi, who remained fine and deep-rooted with a stand for the first time in his life. Josuke also outwitted Kiecho, finally discovering the brothers hiding something in this strange house, their father. The father became horrifically disfigured by the curse of Dio's defeat. An enemy stand barges in on the premises, stealing the bow and arrow away from Keicho.
The big brother pursues this stand known as Red Hot Chili Pepper but unfortunately dies during the battle. The enemy murdering stand escapes unharmed, making Okuyasu vouch for vengeance on his big brother's death. Foward on, Okuyasu became a great friend to Josuke and Koichi. No matter where Josuke walks, he always has Okuyasu by his side to hang out with or scheme shenanigans. Even in battle, Okuyasu has Josuke's back no matter what danger lies in front of them.
The summer continues as the three experience weird phenomena happening in their hometown, from solving a murder mystery to encountering other stand users, whether they be friends that turn over a new leaf after meeting them or foes that remain staining Morioh, a once peaceful town.

This is Josuke's iconic stand named "Crazy Diamond." Stands normally appear invisible to other humans, aliens, or creatures that lack extra-sensory capability. They manifest over their users that are bonded with them and every single movement they make when summoned. A colored aura will appear around the body of the user when the Stand appears. Crazy Diamond is capable of attacking and defending when it comes to combat.
A single punch can pierce straight through an unarmored target. For example, Crazy Diamond can punch a hole through a human's abdomen. Anytime the stand will throw a single punch, it will yell out, "DORA!". It also has an impressive reflex for catching incoming tiny objects that can harm the stand user, such as a bullet being fired out of a gun. "Soul energy" is what a stand is made of, and making it incredibly tough in situations involving bladed weapons, guns, fire, etcetera but enchanted weapons or channeled energy will hurt the stand.
Grabbing solid objects is no problem for a stand in-fact; it can grab onto ledges, throw objects at targets, or move someone out of harm's way. If exhausted while using the stand, it will have no choice but to disappear until the user regains their normal energy within their body. The downside when it comes to taking incoming damage upon the stand, the user will receive damage. For example, if a stand receives a stab or cut by a "magical" sword, the stand user himself or herself will receive the same injury. When the stand gets knocked back by force and goes flying, so will the user. Any chance the stand gets pinned against a solid object, the same thing happens to the stand user.
