Within the idyllic town of Crimington, a growing evil is about to make their move. The Mafia has risen, and now the Town must unite, or be eliminated one by one. Will the Town defeat this darkness, or will the Mob rule? That's up to you!

Post here to join. I'll kick this thing off on Sunday. Rules as follows:

The game is divided into multiple Day and Night Phases.

Day Phase: During this time, all players will vote to Guillotine another player, removing them from the game. Use this time to present you case for the guilt of someone else, or for your own innocence! This Phase will last 2 OOC days, and at the end of that time, any player which has received at least a 51% majority in the vote will be Decapitated. If you have an ability that you can use during the Day Phase, send me a DM or PM during this time.

Night Phase; During this time, all MAFIA members will converse amongst themselves (via any private means they wish to use). One of them will send me a DM or PM, telling me who they want to kill. Any roles which have abilities that work during the Night Phase will also send me a message during this time. At the beginning of the next Day Phase, the person, or people, who have died during the Night will be revealed.

If you're "out of the game", please respect the spirit of the game and refrain from posting in this thread, or discussing your thoughts in public of private. It's nice to win and all, but it's better to win by playing the game right. And real shitty to lose because someone went against the spirit of the competition.

Not everyone will have a special role. Sorry. However, if you DO have a special role, it may be in your best interest to keep that secret. At least until it's the opportune time to reveal what you can do.

Most importantly: have fun! It's no fun if everyone is quiet and trying to "hide". Interact with each other!

Day 1
It's a beautiful day outside. Birds are singing. Flowers are blooming. On days like today, the 13 inhabitants of Crimington would have never expected to find a dead body strewn across the front steps of Town Hall. Her warm smile frozen into a perpetual grimace, and her blouse stained red, Toga Himiko was no more. Painted in her blood, the words "The Mafia will rule this town!" were displayed across the great wooden doors of the building.

Immediately, the inhabitants began to throw accusations about, desperate to discover the killer (or killers) and save the lives of themselves or those they love. Would they be able to root out this menace and return peace and tranquility to their town? Or will the Mafia succeed it eliminating all threats to their rule? Only time will tell.

The scene was macabre in a boring way, a show more of passion than force or brutality.

Like, really? You're gonna stop at killing just one person? Pffft. If Yuuka were the mafia, her idea of proving the mafia would rule the town would be to kill every single non-mafia person in the town all at once. That'll show 'em.

Death!

"I don't understand why they'd kill the shadiest person here to begin with," the Youkai spoke, judging the corpse half for cause of death and half for edibility. Even dumbasses like her knew an obvious scapegoat when they saw one, though. "But maybe it's good she's out of our hair. Based on what I saw her do in Dante's Abyss, I feel like not having to deal with someone who can turn into dead people is a good thing when it comes to solving murders."

Suwako would look to the corpse with terror. "...My god!" The girl would breathe, looking to the carnage. "Who would do such a thing?!" The Blonde would say, putting a hand to her chest. "...I was going to try to convert her today! Flipped my entire schedule for it! This is bullhockey and I demand to know who's responsible..." The Blonde would slow down, before reading 'the Mafia will rule this town' in bold letters.

The blonde pulled the front of her hat down. "So we got some punks pretending they know what they're doing, then! Alright, back in my day, we used to handle things like this with a good ol' mob of torches and pitchforks!" Suwako grinned, showing her tongue as she brought her hands up to the skies.

"...so, uhhh..." The Blonde put her hands to her hips. "...Do any of ya got a torch... or a pitchfork to lend?...I'm broke."
