Character History:
Thousands of years ago, cats ruled over humans in Egypt. The Egyptians saw cats as gods and worshipped them, lavishing comfort and endless, sumptuous food upon them. While some of their number wished to retain their control over humanity, many more preferred to submit to lives of hedonism to the point where they didn't care that humans regained autonomy. Thus cats made a pact among their kind, known as The Covenant - their superior intelligence, ability to speak, and a number of other secrets would be kept secret from humanity as long as the situation remained unchanged.
In the present year, the situation still favours the cats.
But not all cats are content with their ancestors' choices. One of that number is Seto, a black and white moggy who wants greater freedom and adventure than his life allows. The mind of an engineer and thrill-seeker inhabit his feline body, and he cannot scratch those itches without drawing undue attention to himself. However, those who wish for release from The Covenant are allowed to wander the stars in search of their desires, but in doing so must accept exile - they can never return to Earth - lest they reveal the secret of the cats.
Seto took the deal and left Earth, winding up on Inverxe. Using credits he stole from his adoptive owner, he funded and built an exo-suit he dubbed Seto Prime (also his name when wearing the suit) that allows him into the most dangerous and risky of situations, all while giving him the opportunity to tinker and improve it, satisfying his love of mechanics.
Free of The Covenant and his (now dead) Inverxe master, Seto Prime looks to new adventures...
