Jak once again nodded at Shinku, his new friend before heading off with Daxter, prepping for something completely different this time around.

The first time he took his zoomer from the track back to the inn and parked it. As he walked inside, he saw the lady at the desk who was usually friendly. “This is Jak and Daxter, can I get our card for our rooms again, Ms? “

“Of course, Mr. Mar. The Suite right? Daxter nodded and Jak went with him with two fresh keycards in hand going up the elevator to the door.

Daxter stretched his hands, eager to relax after the huge race they just went through. But Jak didn’t allow him to rest long as the eco warrior tied his race jacket around his waist and put on his newly bought precursor armor, and placed his jewel on his back.

He grabbed some of his riches, placing them into a small pouch and slipping it near him.

He locked it in the mini-safe again for safekeeping after all the others were keeping the room for him and Daxter anyway.

The eco warrior looked considerably different from when he went to race. He had armor on, and he looked older.

As the gruff eco warrior and Daxter went down the elevator and it opened, Mar asked how he could get a transport off the planet. He needed a transport to Mesa Rosa. The woman nodded “Travel is free, all you have to do is find someone willing to take you to that planet? Why do you guys want to go to the desert planet anyway? It doesn’t have much.”

Jak cleared his throat “We have business there.” The woman nodded and typed up something, calling up a transport to Mesa Rosa.

“Thank you. We hope to see you and Daxter here again, Mr. Mar.”

As soon as Jak walked outside, there was someone waiting to drive Jak and Daxter toward Mesa Rosa.

Daxter blinked “Hey, this is pretty fancy, Jak.. Why did we get the basics?”

Jak shrugged “It’s for a business trip, Dax, we’ll be back in a while.”

The ottsel sighed and looked over at the eco warrior “What is this business trip anyway, Jak?”

The eco warrior stared back out the window, not telling Daxter anything. “We are visiting uh… Nippur.”

“You know uhhh that place.”

Daxter was the first person to scream “WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?!! YOU HAVE GOTTA BE FUCKING WITH ME, JAK! I’l be the first one to complain about this decision you are making…”

Jak shook his head “Look, it won’t be as bad as you think.”

Daxter’s annoyance was growing “What, so you can watch me get turned into Victor’s favorite clothing?! NO WAY!”

Jak felt guilty “I refuse to let Victor treat us that way, you that way. But We have to fix the mess we caused.”

“By begging and bowing under Gilgamesh’s knees?! FORGET IT! Daxter roared

Jak sighed, “We are going, that’s final, Dax.”

Daxter made a hmph sound “Don’t forget what I did for you, Jak.”

Jak looked up “I promise I won’t let anyone touch you, Dax.”

The eco warrior watched out the window as space passed as they flew toward Mesa Nova. In 3 hours time, the plane landed and an empty dune buggy was in the middle of the wasteland. It was too tempting to pass up.

It’s when Jak and Daxter hopped in when the trouble began, warboys surrounded the vehicle and Daxter groaned “STEP ON IT, JAK!”. So Jak and Daxter’s adventure on Mesa Rosa begins.

Warboys rummeraged behind Jak and Daxter’s dune buggy as Daxter kept trying to pull away from where they were grabbing.

The eco warrior was stepping on the gas as fast as the dune buggy could go. “YEAH! TAKE THIS, YOU ASSHOLES!”

After 3 hours of repeated circles, dodging warboys and more problems, they finally reached the entrance of what was Babylonia.

Daxter gulped “Old times, oh man. This brings bad memories, very bad ones. Uh, Jak…?! How.. do we get in…”

Jak cleared his throat “Uh… HELLO?!”
