Shigeo is an Esper, a special kind of person born with psychic powers. At a young age, he discovered both that these powers were incredibly dangerous, and that they were "powered" by his emotions. So, he spent his young life attempting to suppress his feelings. Though he was mostly successful, an incident with his younger brother caused him to seek out the tutelage of an older Esper who could help him to control his powers. This is when he met Reigen Arataka and began an "internship", helping the older man in his exorcism business.
Abilities/Skills:
Mob possesses incredible psychic power, primarily in the form of telekinesis.
Mob's telekinetic power protects him from harm. He can use this to protect others as well.
As an Esper, Mob is able to see and sense spirits and those with strong spiritual abilities within a certain range.
