The Gundanium Alloy, arguably the most crucial module to call this machine a Gundam, is a marvelous defensive system. Gundanium is a unique metal that can only be forged in zero gravity, and also has the unique property of rendering the Wing Gundam nearly invisible to radar.

The Twin Buster Rifle is the Wing Gundam's most legendary, and frightening, weapon system. It is an extremely long-range, wide aspect beam weapon capable of punching straight through any unarmored obstructions between the weapon and the target. Anything that takes a direct hit from the Buster Rifle is liable to be immediately destroyed.

The only drawback of such a powerful, accurate weapon however, is that it cannot be fired in rapid succession. After firing one shot, the Buster Rifle cannot be fired again for sixty seconds while it goes through an intense cooling cycle. Additionally, aiming and operating the Twin Buster rifle requires the pilot's full attention.

The Wing Gundam is equipped with two beam sabers, stored in its shoulder pauldrons. These high-intensity laser projectors are wielded as single-handed arming swords, and the Wing Gundam can wield either one or both at the same time.

The Wing Gundam is equipped with a pair of rapid-fire machine cannons located on the left and right nacelle of its chest plate. These weapons are for close-range engagements against low-armor opponents. They are too inaccurate to cause reliable damage beyond 100 feet.

The Wing Gundam carries a large, tower-style Gundanium shield that is reinforced even more than the armor of its fuselage. While it can defend against almost any conceivable form of damage, it does require the pilot's direct attention to interpose it against incoming attacks. The shield is not attached via hardpoint to the Gundam's left arm, so it is capable of being dropped or knocked away.

The Wing Gundam is equipped with a powerful targeting system, capable of passively pinpointing possible enemies, incoming attacks and movement vectors out to 500 meters. If the pilot chooses to, they can enhance these functions by directly narrowing the specifications of the Gundam's scanning sensors. This enhanced scan, however, requires the full attention of the pilot during the targeting sequence.

The ZERO System is the most infamous piece of equipment carried by the Wing Gundam, and easily its most controversial. The Gundam is capable of directly integrating its pilot's reflexes and senses into the Gundam's operating system, giving the pilot and almost flawless interface into the movements of the Gundam. In addition, this connection provides real-time combat heuristics and tactical information that can reliably lead the pilot on a clear path to flawless victory.

The ZERO System is not, however, equipped with a moral compass, and the definition of 'victory' is sometimes more bloody and brutal than necessary. Pilots that interface with the ZERO system must constantly fight to stay in control of their combat reflexes, or risk losing control of themselves and breaking down into a fit of bloodthirsty rage and aggression.
