Gibralter had lived on Hurshii his whole life. He'd made a living on the candy cane trees that populated the planet, and before the great economic boom in recent years he was the best house-builder known. When Mcduck had begun taking over the building, Gibralter was forced to give up his life-long business to take up a job at the mines. Day after day, the monotony of it all had worn him down, and his crew along with him. Not a single miner raised their heads to the bright light that flashed above their heads. As they trudged deep into the mines for the change in shifts, nearly every employee of the McDuck enterprises mines was deep within the spongey bowels of the earth, marching single file into the darkness as though they already knew they would never see light agian. As Gibralter trailed in behind his crew he said one last goodbye to the fleeting moment of freedom he'd spent with his family the night before.
