Earlier in the day, Warren Zimmer had not been in this mysterious world but instead had been in his lab. His lab which was where he thought he would remain after he had dealt with the stupidity of being the play thing of Omni and had managed to return home. Being the plaything of Omni had not been something he had enjoyed, but he had managed to invent a solution and return himself home with his memories of such in tact. This was why when he had arrived here, Warren was most certainly not in the best of moods because he believed the situation was repeating. Yet, this time things were different than he had anticipated. For example, there was much to his relief no smiling white biped waiting to greet him and tell him he was "interesting" or that he would be watching. All in all, the Quarterback of Chaos was most certainly not happy with the current events that he was being forced to cope with. Among these was the problem that he had to deal with of once more having no resources and not even a place to call his home. Being robbed of everything once was annoying. Of course now he was little more than absolutely boiling over with rage at his second abduction to a mysteriou
"This silly game is really quite lame, and someone's going to pay." muttered Warren as he took the time to really examine the area that he was in. Learning more about the surroundings could allow him to make a true plan that would allow him to deal with his problems individually. The first problem was that he didn't know enough or really anything about the terrain. Resolving that issue would help him to deal with the other problems, including his lack of supplies. At least whoever had abducted him had the courtesy of leaving him with an invention he had been working on, the NFL-Laser. While not the best item to use in a place like this, it would have to do until he could build more inventions. Warren started marching aimlessly, growling obscenities beneath his breath about whoever had dragged him from his home. It was one thing to have this incident once. Yet, now he was completely out of patience. When he had finished dealing with Omni he had hoped his dimensional hijinx were over and done. That he could focus on what he wanted to, instead of being pulled places against his will. Apparently he had been totally and completely wrong about that. "Blast it all!" groaned Warren Zimmer as he surveyed the environment he found himself in.
The area he was in looked to be some sort of thriving black market, though it did have it's problems. Mechanical beasts of some sort that held giant scythes and were carving through fields. Whatever they were, Warren had no desire to get on the bad side of them. Likely they were not going to show him any mercy unlike the Guardians. If the Guardians were here, Waren might try to convince them to help him. Of course part of him was glad the Guardians were not here because it meant they were back home, and had not been dragged here against their will. They were after all just kids, and had no business being kidnapped against their will by an unknown source. An unknown source that he wished to dip on boiling oil at this point... no. Boiling oil was too lenient for the individual who had abducted him this time.
Thankfully he was in an area that sold supplies. Perhaps he could achieve the acquisition of some weapons for himself as well as some resources. His NFL-Laser was not going to be enough to deal with whoever had brought him here. Given that, he'd have to figure out what the people here used as currency, and then acquire it for himself. A command center would be needed for transit purposes more than likely by him. In addition he was also going to need to rebuild his armor for himself. In the Omniverse he had a lot of weapons at his disposal. Every last one of them was going to be rebuilt by him at some point so he could be prepared to deal with this idiocy himself.
Right now he had to research whoever had abducted him, and then find a way to prevent it from happening again. There was step one, cut off the individual or individuals from abducting more people. Unlike with Omni, Warren was going to work more intelligently than he had. Taking a deep breath, and releasing it he forced himself to calm down. Anger was not going to get him any closer to solving the first of his problems here. Resources were what he lacked, and needed to correct. His NFL-Laser needed some components it was missing to be useful in any fight, and so he was going to have to acquire them.
"Who has done this to me, and why could they not leave me be?"
The answer to that question is one Warren would pay good money for. Since he had been basically abducted without any warning whatsoever, he had not been given time to prepare. A note like "oh hey, you're being taken from your home to participate in some sort of game" would have been nice in his opinion. After all, that note would have given him time to prepare. By prepare he meant grab a gun and shoot his abductor until they agreed Warren was not to be treated as a play thing. The smiling white biped had been bad enough of a menace to the Quarterback of Chaos. Honestly right now, he really wanted to find out the source of his displeasure. Were he in possession of the Semi-Wild, he would run over his unwanted kidnapper because it made him mad. Okay, mad was not the right word in hindsight. Absolutely livid was not the right word either. If there was one to his current feelings, he did not know it. "The imbecile who kidnapped me... is going to pay for this. They should have at least given me time to prepare." As he trekked through the black market, Warren began to look around to see what supplies he needed to use for his own purposes.
