Physical Description:
One's immediate opinion of Ashlynn would likely be "entirely too happy country bumpkin". The redhead's perpetual smile, copious freckles, and broad-shouldered build bring to mind images of jovial farmgirls waking at dawn to feed and milk livestock. Her unimpressive height of five-foot-absolutely-nothin' does little to help this, since it makes her broad, muscular build all the more noticeable. She often dresses in plain, cheap, functional clothes, since her work tends to have her covered in one form of much or another.
Character History:
As one might expect, Ashlynn was born and raised in a tiny, nameless community on Erde Nona, one whose focus was livestock and agriculture. She spent the first two decades of her existence in this lifestyle, knowing no other... to her chagrin. The idea of spending the rest of her life on the farm made a part of her that she could not put a name to despair. To be limited so... She spent many years branching out into what little her village had to offer: she apprenticed herself to the smith for a time, to the village wise woman, and even tried her hand at hunting, though her ability with a bow left much to be desired. All she had to show for her exploration was a more impressive physique and the most tenuous grasp on the fundamentals of magic.
However, when a passing peddler ended up temporarily stranded in her tiny town, her interactions with him and the stories he told opened her mind to the possibility of more. The concept of space travel, soaring through the vast expanse of pitch-black space with only the occasional beacon of civilization... It both terrified and enthralled her.
And so, leaving the family business in the more-than-capable hands of her younger siblings, Ashlynn packed her meager belongings and set out for Arcadia, determined to see for herself what kind of worlds were out there.

Unfortunately, she's very much out of practice, and even her natural aptitude can't help that fact. It requires her total concentration to succeed, as well as a lengthy amount of time for her to tap into the ambient mana.
