Himiko possesses an energetic and friendly demeanor that contrasts with and masks her natural sadism, making conversation with her a bit off-putting for those who aren't used to her. She can go from calling someone her best friend to talking about cutting out their eye within the same sentence. She's less violent towards those who don't judge her and accept her for who she is, especially those she considers her close friends, and generally reserves her more violent acts for her "crushes" or new acquaintances.
While not adverse to conflict, Himiko prefers to only engage with those she holds an obvious advantage over. As such, she'll generally stalk a target for days before attacking them when they are alone and vulnerable. In the event that she's suddenly thrown into a fight, Himiko will utilize hit and run tactics, using her Quirk and any other trick she can to separate individuals from a group, disorient a target, or otherwise tip the scales of combat to her favor. If faced with a situation where she's clearly outmatched (or even if she's evenly matched), she'll instead focus on escape.

Toga has the ability to transform into those whose blood she has drunk within the past eight hours. Just how long she can remained transformed depends on how much of that blood she has consumed. A few drops will only give her a handful of seconds, while a cup will allow her to remain transformed for an entire eight hour period. She can freely switch between any applicable forms (including her own) within the eight hour time period.

She spent the next decade in an institute, only managing to get released by suppressing her urges and pretending to be cured.
After her release, Himiko tried to maintain the ruse, and for a couple years it worked. But, shortly before her middle-school graduation, she "fell in love" with a boy at her school, who had scraped his knee playing with his friends. The teachers were aghast when they found that she had tied him up in the locker room and was carving new wounds into him with a knife with a gleeful smile. Rather than face going back to the institute, she ran home, murdered her family, and escaped out into the world by using her mother's form as a disguise.
