Physical Description:
As both of them share a body, they for the most part look the same- a 5'4 high school girl with a scrawny figure, glasses, pale skin, and dark hair. Notable markings are the (natural) beauty mark below the lip, and the (unnatural) 37 scars of tally marks on the left thigh. These are usually covered by their clothes, however. Their hair is usually in braids, but not always- and their typical outfit is their school uniform, a long black skirt and long-sleeved black sailor top with black socks and loafers.
Touko has grey eyes, and keeps her tongue in her mouth like a normal person. Her mannerisms are usually either shy or passive-aggressive, and she acts very anxiously at almost all times. She tends to walk with a hunched over figure, shoulders drawn in- making herself look smaller than she already is.
Genocider has red eyes, and no such common courtesy. Her tongue is always out. She presents herself confidently, with sharp and quick actions meant to threaten. Notably, her speech is often slurred and mostly nonsensical- especially before you get to know her and start understanding what she means.
Character History:
Touko was born in one of the middle-class districts of Arcadia as the only child to a polygamous man and his two wives- her half sister, born around the same time, was stillborn. An anxious and withdrawn child, she was abused both physically and mentally by her peers and her family her whole young life for her perceived failings. Abuse we won't go into the specifics of, but needless to say, left her scarred. She was ugly, clingy, and useless- and worst of all, already mentally unstable. What was some more baggage to the already overburdened child?
Too much.
She didn't question the ever growing gaps in her memory. She didn't want to remember, anyway.
She didn't want to remember their abuse.
She didn't want to remember her retribution.
So, wasn't it fine if she just forgot it? Then, they'd both be happier.
No, it wasn't like Touko woke up one day and realized she was a serial killer with a split personality. The fact she had been dissociating through her daily life was well and firmly planted in her brain before she ever thought anything of it- beyond that she was just more broken than she had initially thought. But she had not considered, even for a moment, that perhaps her "other self" was significantly different from the self she knew.
That as she made a name for herself with her career in writing, so too was she making a name for herself in killing.
But as the tally count on her leg kept increasing, she started forming some painful hypotheses.
Ones she found proven right.
You don't forget the first time you wake up at a murder scene, no matter how much you want to.
Her paranoia peaked after that- and ever since, despite the fact she has now become something of a famous author, she's more withdrawn from society than ever. She goes to high school, like normal. She keeps to herself as much as possible. Stays out of trouble. Her jaded nature and prickly personality helps, anyway- people don't like being around her any more than she does them.
That's good. For all she cares, they can stay that way.

Typically, Touko carries between 5-10 pairs of extremely sharp scissors on her person at any given time. Though her "normal" self is loathe to use them, they are extremely durable and powerful- to the point they can cut straight through concrete without taking damage. She can wield them either as melee weapons, one or two pairs in each hand, or throw them.
