Character Behavior

Valeria is an Insightful Gunslinger. Though one wouldn’t know it if you spoke with her or knew anything about her, Miss Valeria is pretty gifted with her choice of firearms. As is standard procedure for any Pilot’s Union employee, she was required to go through basic training and physical conditioning to ensure that she could meet the demand of the job and the demand for emergency deployment should the need arise. It put her in substantial debt, but Miss Valeria obtained both a semi-automatic shotgun and a revolver to use as her personal weapons. While she keeps the shotgun at home in a gun locker, she always has her revolver holstered beneath her left arm. She is intuitive about everything around her, having been raised around a mathematician and a mechanic. She is fairly well mannered. If she isn’t cussing like a sailor at work, she’s usually pretty calm and polite. She wants to defend Markov at any cost and hopes that one day she can pay off the debt she owes to Cytokine Industries.

Appearance Description
She is a gorgeous human female with a petite and slender frame, standing at roughly five feet six inches. Long blue locks are tied back into a high ponytail, a few strands pulled loose to frame her heart-shaped face. A pair of wide and expressive eyes dominate her features, the silver orbs glowing with a fiery inner light. A narrow nose and high cheekbones empathize with lush lips, which always seem to be pulled into a smile. A slim neck leads to narrow shoulders, flowing down into her firm, athletic frame. Lush, buoyant breasts bounce above a flat, fit stomach which flows into a pert, bubbly backside. Most of her height seems to come from long, fit legs that help her move about with effortless, athletic grace.

History (Native of Cevanti):

Valeria only remembers the childhood that she had. Her father worked as an accountant for Cytokine Industries and her mother was a mechanic for the Pilot’s Union. While they were both busy, both of her parents found the time to spend with their daughter. Valeria would often visit both her parents' places of work when daycare or what accounted for school in Markov wasn’t in session. From her father Valeria learned how to do math and solve complex equations and problem solve. From her mother she learned the proper way to dismantle a drive core on a standard Pilot Union mech. One could say she had a happy childhood. Her parents dare not expose her true origin. That she had been found inside a hidden facility in Markov as a baby. Aria took every precaution to ensure that the child did not realize her parents were not her own. Both her mother and father underwent extensive cosmetic surgery to change their appearances to line up with how Valeria was going to look. Everything else they left to chance. At 16 she got her first job as an apprentice mechanic for the Pilot’s Union. She shadowed someone for six months before demonstrating that she could work by herself. She quickly became just as skilled as her mother, who had become a crew chief overseeing several teams of mechanics. Though her work ethic was good, Valeria was a deviant. She’d often bring her boyfriend of the month into the hangar bay at night to mess around where they couldn’t be found. She picked up smoking from several different boys she dated. More than once did the police have to return Valeria home to her parents well into the middle of the night for breaking curfew. By the time she was 26 she was a senior mechanic for hangar six. She had lost her arm the previous year in a scavenging accident that led her to an organoid named Feron who took the form of a mechanical wolf. The two became best friends. Feron would interface with damaged mechs and find out where Valeria needed to look and what to repair based on a lengthy diagnostic program she designed for him to run. Despite offers from Cytokine Industries, she refused to sell Feron or let him be used for any sort of weapons development. In return the company saddled her with all of her parents' debt, took their family home, and forced her into an apartment complex for the poverty stricken. On the eve of her 27th birthday she discovered an abandoned Geno Breaker in one of the old hangar bays and set about fixing it up and getting it running again. It took six months and several high interest loans to get her running again, but when Feron finally initialized the startup sequence the Geno Breaker roared into life. Though its red paint was faded and chipped from wear and tear it was still a sight to behold. The siege of Markov occurred on the anniversary of her fathers death. She had only been enrolled in flight school for six months and was disqualified to pilot anything in the battle. Instead her boss called her in to crew and lead the war time repair effort for the mechs and zoids being used in the defense of the city. It was hard, back breaking work. Though the combined allied forces had defended the city, so much had been lost and damaged. The hangar bays were put into quadruple overtime while they repaired combat mechs, fixed city infrastructure, and repaired the cities defenses. Taking her allotted one day off from work after three weeks of nonstop eighteen hour days this is where her story begins.
