Character Name: Weiss Schnee

Character Source: RWBY/Omniverse cross-overed.

Location: Inverxe

Character Behavior:
Weiss is a Thoughtful Fencer.

Coming from a life fraught with peril and forcing her way out of a series of different traps by different people, all set to manipulate and control her, Weiss highly values her individuality and independence, and makes use of it. Most decisions she makes are relatively well thought-out, even if her desires to help others can at times lead her to impulsive decisions. She is considerate after all the hell she's been through, and committed to helping out others - particularly those who, similarly, have issues finding the freedom to live their lives properly. She is heroic, selfless, Educated, considerate, and empathetic to a fault.

When forced into combat, Weiss is a skilled fencer. She is not always the most creative fighter, but relies on very practiced and coordinated movements that are usually made with strategy in mind. She will study her opponents and look for weaknesses from the very beginning of the fight and is not prone to reckless attacks or hasty decisions. A veteran of some of the worst battles the Omniverse had to offer, and dozens of missions against both criminals and the monstrous creatures of Grimm on her homeworld, Weiss does not scare easily. She is still able to feel ordinary fear and

Physical Description:

Weiss is a youthful woman, roughly 19, who possesses snow-white hair, a slim figure, and a normally serious expression. Her eyes usually appear an icy blue, but changes to her body have caused them to flash yellow, with black sclera, when she's agitated or annoyed and can't keep the illusion up. she has a cut across her right eye, and usually keeps her hair bound in a ponytail.

Character History:

Weiss Schnee has an official history, a homeworld she was supposedly a part of, a woman she sought to protect and bring home after they went missing. much of her early life was spent under the heels of an abusive father.

This is the fictionalized past of Weiss Schnee, an artificial being born of omnilium, forged for a mad god's whims and it drove her initial decisions in a world that was not her own.

Within the confines of the Omniverse, the woman fought her way into the camelot coliseum, meeting and being defeated by the Death Guard, Okor Paleblood. Meeting a friend who had been likewise replicated - more than a friend, her partner, Ruby Rose, the two were hardly reunited before being thrust into a cruel twist of Fate known as The Hero's Graveyard. Instead of rendezvousing with their friends at the fountain, they found nothing but a world of violence - it was there that Weiss and Ruby fought together, and there that they were forced to embrace death.

Shortly after their unwitting revival, they found themselves back in the omniverse. their friends were gone, but they were there and had eachother...

Until Weiss was ripped away again by a savage tyrant. Changed, warped into something inhuman by the whims of the mad hollow Saiko Kiga. In the midst of this, she was saved by a man calling himself a quincy, Nayamasa Fukaku, and given a choice to control the new powers that came with this new shape. Her powers had warped, her aura was stolen from her, and she was given the inhuman desire to feast on souls - a desire she still fights to this day.

Instead of going on the offensive against the creature who had harmed her, she was asked to participate in the defense of the omniverse during the Dark Data incident. despite the personal issues she held, she was unwilling to leave so many people to get hurt, and fought in the company of Skeletor and Kopaka. Despite being initially horrified by their attitudes and corrupted nature, she forced herself to work with them for the greater good, and the trio found a mutual respect, if lacking trust, for their battle with Blizzardman.

The battle ended tragically, for even as the three found some measure of respect and care, and as Weiss found empathy in the nature of her and Kopaka's shared corruption, that empathy threw her into deeper sorrow as she saw the Toa of Ice sacrifice himself to allow her to live through the battle.

Skeletor left her shortly after she left the frozen fields, and Weiss found herself with nothing and no one around, drifting off into the sleepy realm of the dream-verse... and pulled forcibly into it, pushed into another senseless fight against the possessed swordsman Renji, the priest Alexander Anderson, and an unwitting match against the man who had left her in a defeated state so many years before - Okor Paleblood. Faced with such a fight, Weiss's sanity was pushed to it's limit from these constant experiences and threatened to break...

but it didn't.

The Huntress refused to let this push her from who she was - from what she was, from what she had always been in her heart. With determination, Weiss resolved to go even further, to fix the mess that was the Omniverse, to stop the constant destruction caused by these malicious inhabitants. She refused to tolerate her own fall, or the fall of these people, and with the strength of her new idealism - and a bit of luck - defeated the three of them with the last of her strength.

Even so, one last, chilling question haunted her:

They both had a communicator, but she hadn't heard from Ruby in a long time.

She put it out of her mind as she went to Camelot, doing some work and some mentoring of a few young heroes, and then defeating a renegade who had left a scarred trail across Camelot's peaceful scenery. but eventually, she couldn't tolerate it. she went back to the frozen fields, fought her way through mind-scarring beasts, and Fought to a stand-still against the ancient ice dragon who lay there, guarding the bleakest of Portals...

A way to Omni.

When she came to the god's area, his answers were... Not what she expected, and caused her heart to sink once more.

She asked to be sent home with Ruby, only to find out... she was already there. or more accurately, that she never was. Her being - a facsimile forged of omnilium. Her partner, the girl she loved - also a facsimile. same with the teammates who'd contacted her on communicator, Blake and Yang. she'd cared deeply about all of them - and yet, all of them were fakes.

This, of course, brought Weiss's next question? Where were these facsimiles, at least! she needed to let them know, to tell them the truth...

The answer she got chilled her to the core.

He'd grown bored of them.

Weiss fought her anger down as she realized attacking would cause nothing, and her mind was still reeling with the horrifying realization of who she was, how much of her she was still finding out was artificial, that she'd just been jumping through larger and larger hoops...

And yet, the core of who she'd made herself to be throughout this journey through the omniverse stood strong. She would not just curl into a ball and cry. But she also wouldn't give this god-thing the satisfaction.

So it was that her next question was simply "how do I leave?"

She was answered with a smile, and though Weiss had every word in her native tongue ready to throw at the man responsible for her existence, and her suffering, she said none of them. That would be too poetic. Instead, she left through the portal wordlessly. She did not send it to her old world - they didn't need a fake Weiss, even if the real one had... probably died to the men she remembered leaving behind on her entrance to the omniverse.

She just needed to be somewhere that wasn't here. somewhere where her existence wasn't determined by her entertainment value to a deity. where she could be someone all her own.

Walking through the portal, the wispy details of the void became legend, and the icy ravines of Inverxe came into view...

Affinity: Exceptional
Abilities/Skills:

Fencer's footwork

Speed Rank 3 - 600 essence.
Agility Rank 3 - 600 essence
1200 Essence total.

Weiss was already a naturally fast human being, and while she's lost some of her Omniversal speed in the transition, is still able to move much faster than the average human being - at least, in bursts. Additionally, she's able to pull off incredible feats of agility due to a trained body, though this has been dulled by the new ruleset she is now inhabiting having different rules to work with.

Myrtenaster
Damage rank 3 - 300 essence
200 essence total.
Weiss's favored rapier. it's lost some punch but it still remains an elegant tool when used with Weiss's high speeds to take apart an opponent it's a long, thin blade that Weiss can use incredibly well with her combat style.

Cero:
Damage rank 5 - 500 essence
-Ranged modifier | +250 essence
-Area of effect Modifier | +250 essence
-Concentration modifier | -250 essence
-Indiscriminate | -250 essence
Weiss focuses the hollow energies that have been mixed with her own, and fires a long, red beam of energy that covers a 10 foot wide area at the start before petering into a thinner beam past twenty feet. This blast is similar to something like the Kamehameha, burning an opponent like a plasma blast as well as causing physical trauma like a particularly heavy blow. To use the technique, Weiss must focus energy into a body part - a finger or the palm of her hand, for instance - for a few seconds, creating a blossom of crimson energy - before releasing it on the target. Concentrating the energy requires a lot of focus, so Weiss can't really be doing anything else intensive while she's charging it.

Hierro
Ability Effects:
Protection 5 (500 Essence)
Negative Modifier: Concentration (-250 essence)

Descriptor: Weiss focuses spiritual energy into her arms in order to temporarily cause them to become much more difficult to damage. Attacks hitting her arms while this protection is active will glance off with minimal damage, and feel like striking metal - should a strong enough attack be made with a metallic weapon, sparks will even fly off as the two collide, as though the blade had struck stone or iron. This protection requires Weiss to actively focus power into her arms, and thus is not on all the time. It can block things that hit with area of effect, but it takes a lot of focus and is not active when Weiss is not consciously using it. She cannot focus on much else beyond basic actions while this ability is being used.

Essence Cost: 250
