Appearance
William Birkin is a roughly 36 year old man of a thin build and a rumpled, nervous demeanor. He has pale skin, dark blue eyes, and short, ragged brown hair that is split into fringes. He has some stubble on his upper lip and chin, and generally seems exhausted, with dark circles under his eyes from many sleepless nights. He usually wears a long white lab coat, a pale long sleeve buttoned shirt, a long red tie, grey pants and dark brown shoes. 
Personality
William is a brilliant scientist, once a child prodigy who earned his doctorate while still a teenager. As a result of this extreme dedication to his viral research, he is paranoid and willing to do anything to preserve his work; despite his genius-level intellect, when his work is attacked or his genius under threat of being upstaged, he may engage in rash, erratic behavior. He believes that the ends always justify the means and will not hesitate to sacrifice or harm others in the name of science. He has quite a temper and is not generally social, preferring to spend time alone or working on his research.
Possible Reactions
If confronted by multiple aggressive persons or clearly outmatched, Birkin will choose to flee unless he has some means of doing some serious damage. He’s a nerdy little scientist dude, what’s he gonna do? He has a general disdain for the lives of those around him, only showing respect when it’s necessary. He’s the type to stick to his principles and generally will not succumb to intimidation. He might attempt to manipulate others into assisting him, feigning helplessness.
Relationships
The only people he might care about are his wife and daughter, and even that is up for debate. (Bro you even play the game? The Birkins are the worst.)
‘Combat’ Style
Birkin has very little combat ability to speak of, though he can at least operate a gun. He will absolutely retreat if faced with overwhelming force, seeking a hiding place or decent vantage point to attack from. Sneak attacks would be his thing. This is not to say that Birkin is a coward; he’s merely conscious of his own limitations! Allies are definitely not a priority for him, and would serve as fantastic meat shields.
