Quest Location: The Medium

Quest Prerequisites: Must have physically entered The Medium.

Quest Description: While traveling through the Medium may initially seem like the cushier option of interplanetary transportation between that and braving the depths of space, the journey is more baffling and less linear than that of space travel- requiring a stable head and strong wits.
Doremy Sweet, the so-called ruler of dreams, is making an effort to recreate the Kaian Passageways of other worlds by routing the shortest or easiest possible ways from a starting point to a given planetary destination. She would like you to travel through The Medium, recording your progress along the way. This may involve traveling through the dreams of individuals, or even false landscapes created from an amalgamation of many dreams- or even something entirely different. While skills in cartography are not required, she would like to receive something along the lines of a “dream journal” detailing your trip in order for the questee to receive payment. “Travel Fees” in coin will also be covered for you.
Have fun traveling, and make sure not to be taken in by simple dreams of your destination.

Quest Description: Walking into any of the guilds you may find mission boards posted for hunters, adventurers, and the crazy to go on. One such mission may stand out as it would display the following in a very neat and detailed format.

“Good day hunter, there has been reported sightings of the Great Jagra’s in the tropical sections of Kraw, they tend to live in caves and have a tendency to swallow monsters whole for food. Quick to pounce and somewhat easy to take on for some adventures we would like for you to hunt down the monsters den and locate herbs that grow inside called orange basil. Of course they are orange in color and not very hard to miss, as for the Great Jagra’s if you manage to kill one and bring back its body or parts I’ll pay you a bit extra and can offer you a trophy from the beast for your time and energy. This go’s for anything you kill out there, so be wary, and good luck hunter!”

Goal: Collect orange basil and return, kill the Great Jagras (optional)
Location: Temperate Forest Location of Kraw
Risks: Great Jagras, Jagras, Raptors, Kastodon (docile)

Quest Giver: Minamitsu Murasa [NPC]

Quest Location: Opealon
Quest Prerequisites: Be Scylla. Or some other chaotic evil monster who loves sinking ships I guess, but as far as I know that's just Scylla.
Quest Description: You folks ever hear about sea monsters? The kind that love sinking ships and killing a whole bunch of innocent people for no reason other than the fact that they're extremely territorial over some fuckin' water? Yeah, Murasa's one of those. In fact it's basically her job. However, what's a friendly wager between a couple of like minded sea monsters? Horrible to the rest of humanity of course, but nothing but good old fashioned family fun for some nautical serial killers.

Upon hearing of the upcoming maiden voyage of a great and supposedly "unsinkable" trade vessel to set sail on the seas of Opealon, Murasa has made something of a wager to the other monsters in the ship sinking business. Murasa, as a ghost (and a buddhist), does not have much want for worldly things. If they can somehow succeed in destroying the vessel with her help, they can keep all of the riches within the vessel once it sinks. And the ship proper, if they really want a sunken ship.

How you go about sinking it is up to you. As long as some people die and the ship gets to the bottom of the ocean somehow, Murasa's happy.

+Addendum: This is an NPC quest, and as above if I do not receive coin that is fine. In addition, I assume taking this quest will definitely result in a bounty on both the taker and my NPC. That's all gucci.

Dangerous Cargo

Quest Prerequisites: Must have transit perk and have a interstellar ship large enough to accommodate at least two people.

Quest Description: Those that personally know the seedy underbelly of Scranbarrow know just how cruel a mistress she can be. Home to the scum of the Crossroads, Govermorne’s black market is a world of dog eat dog. Deacon LaMelle knew this perhaps better than anyone. Having rose to prominence by running an incredibly successful gambling racket, Deacon’s empire grew as quickly as his arrogance. Push too hard and fast against the status quo and it will push right back. Almost overnight Deacon became Scranbarrow’s most wanted man. His casinos were raided by competing criminal organizations. His constituents either defected or were killed, and he barely managed to escape with his life. Using what remained of his empire he managed to hire a plastic surgeon for an under-the-table identity change.

In the initial panic Deacon was able to transfer a large amount of his money to a contact off planet, but this left him almost flat broke. Without money to travel and with his enemies still on the lookout he hasn’t been able to escape Scranbarrow. With each closing day his vendettas draw closer and he grows more desperate. Strangers to Scranbarrow may find themselves propositioned by Deacon. While he can’t offer any sort of money up front, he will promise you a healthy paycheck if you can get him to his contact on Roja. Unbeknownst to him his plastic surgeon installed a tracking device in his body in exchange for a nice fat lump of cash. Should you even manage to smuggle him off planet, bounty hunters and other space pirates looking for a quick score will make your life hell. Once you reach Roja you must brave the desert to reach Deacon’s hideout, where he will graciously reward you.

The Slag Pits

Quest Prerequisites: None
Repeatable: Yes
Other Notes: Multiple people can take this quest at the same time.

Quest Description: A series of ancient and long-dead quarries, The Slag Pits are arguably one of the more famous attractions of Mesa Roja. Renovated by The Commissioner and her organization, these quarries were turned into Roja’s premiere gladiatorial hotspot. Hundreds if not thousands of people across the Crossroads travel here to watch the fights with many more tuning into the broadcasts. Known for brutality, a large portion of these fights end in death or dismemberment. Those crazy enough to not only enter the pits, but also survive are rewarded with coin and fame.

If you happen to be that special kind of psychopath that wants to clobber people for fame and money, then the pits might be the place for you. To enter a fight you must find a sponsor willing to vouch for you. There are plenty of small-time sponsors hoping to make it big by bringing in the next hot thing and some sponsors even resort to slavery to provide their fighters. Once you have a sponsor they will arrange your fight. While most fights are one-on-one slug fests, it isn’t unheard of for there to be large free-for-alls or other modifiers and hazards. In an effort to keep things entertaining most matches are to the death, but one can choose to spare a defeated opponent at the cost of a disappointed crowd. The winner is paid well and earns a bit of respect and fame.

The Great Opealon Treasure Hunt

Quest Description:

The airborne islands of Opealon are home to a culture where everyone is expected to fall in line. You must follow the rules, do your mundane job and contribute to society. Anyone who does not belong is condemned harshly, and thus it can be a difficult place for adventurer's to seek their fortune. But for those who have been paying attention, there is a very real light at the end of the tunnel. There have always been rumors of an underwater civilization deep beneath the watery surface of Opealon's lower world. Many people have written off the idea of ever finding out more about it, because why would anyone go down to the surface to find out? Never mind surviving down there, but then how would you get back? But now, there seems to have been a breakthrough. A real chance to find answers, and perhaps get some answers about the people who settled this strange world.

A researcher has shared with the Precurser Museum in the City of Hope an artifact they uncovered while delving into ruins on an abandoned island. The artifact, as it turns out, is deciphered to be a riddle which supposedly will lead the solver to the 'Answers of Opealon's Origins'. In response to this discovery, the Museum has offered to the public that anyone who can decipher the riddle and locate any answers to the Precurser civilization of Opealon will gain fame, riches and any powers that come along with it. Treasure hunting has become a regular profession, and the competitive will be fierce.

In this quest, the treasure hunt the player undertakes must have at least three "tasks" and must include both the Islands and the Oceans. Once the player has completed the treasure hunt, a Lore staffer will tell them what they've found!

Quest Description: The struggling Inverxe Natural Gas Company, a formerly large and very profitable business that took a great hit in PR recently after accusations of poor working conditions and delivering an inferior product to their competitors, is in desperate need of restructuring. Either their image needs to be completely changed, they need to improve things greatly, or something needs to be done about this “competition” that is so detrimental to their business. That, or it will spell bankruptcy for the former gas giant. If you’re interested in helping, or “helping yourself” is up to you, but at the end of the day, someone better be drilling and pumping that sweet, sweet gaseous gold out of the planet and making those sick bucks.

Quest Description: Years after the dearth of Duncan, unrest has once more appeared within the kingdom. A large man by the name of Albin has reclaimed a hidden legacy: He was the son of Alban the Conqueror - the very same that murdered Hayle's sire all those many years ago. A man who initially thought himself no more than an ordinary woodsman, he has recently rediscovered his true calling, not as a lumberjack and hunter within the wilds, but the true leader of the Western tribes.

Using his charisma, and the nasty temperament of their lord to further convince the men, he has caused the frontiersman of Enstadlin to turn against their duchy and use their training and experience in the wild to wage a guerilla war, with their ultimate goal to break open a hole in the Kingdom of Candegron's defences, and once again re-summon the western hordes.

Einstad's skill in command is notably lacking, and the murmurs that run through the kingdom's courts are that the western clans are responding with enthusiasm to the news of their former lord's heir. Something needs to be done, and the court has already made a decision on who they must counsel in this dark hour.

In order to break, not only this army, but suppress any future rebellions - to truly end the legacy of the conqueror Alban - Duncan Hayle has been chosen to do what he had previously done, and end Albin's rebellion, and his life.

It will not be easy though. Albin's men are not particularly trained in war, but they are hunters, trappers, brawlers, and rogues. they won't be fighting fair, and they won't be fighting to take any prisoners. Their goal is to burn their way through Einstad's Duchy, and his own lack of common sense and overabundance of pride may cause his strategic decisions to be of poor value.

To make matters worse, Albin is burning with a desire for revenge, since the death of his father, and nothing would make him happier than taking the life of his father's killer face-to-face. A man with natural swordsmanship and combat experience to almost equal his father Alban, Hayle will have the fight of his life if Alban has his way.

Despite these difficulties, the path for Duncan Hayle is clear: Coordinate with Lord Einstad to defend his realm from attacks, Kill Albin, scatter his forces, destroy the hopes of the western hordes, and restore faith in the rule of Candegron. These are Hayle's objectives.

Urban Legends aren't really clear on exactly what was in the forest, but most people left it alone anyway. However, she's a doting mother and wanted her child to feel free to explore his imagination, so she didn't protest too much about his excursion. But when his friends ("Jokex Luther" and "Bane Seid") came back without him, she knew something was wrong. Please, kind adventurer, find her son!

Should you decide to search for the lad, Nemin will give you her contact information and offer a reward for doing so.

Quest Description: While out for an exploratory stroll around Kirden Wharf, you become interested in the chatter of the various seafarers docked for refueling or trade purposes.

The general gossip seems to be that a crazy old man (once a widely-feared pirate captain) has secured a rickety fishing boat for himself and is searching for a few good fighters to help him out. His goal? To catch the massive, mythical sea creature that he claims devoured his former ship and crew a month ago.

The promised rewards seem to range between heaps of treasure to an ancient pirate weapon. Unfortunately, no one else seems to be willing to bite... will you?

The police force of the idyllic hamlet of Grimlet has successfully located a group of suspected necromancers working undercover in the area - we have the largest military graveyard in the Arcadian suburbs, so it’s prime territory.

Infiltrate their cell, and gather intel on any wrong doings and report back to the force.”

...or join the cult and turn their legions of undead against the brutal police force which has been oppressing the minorities (read: non-humans, probably) in the area. It’s your choice!
