Bulma and Goku were driving through the Diablo Desert and now entering Hinterlands territory. Following the next Dragon Ball signal. Eventually, in the distance, they see large ruins. Parking behind a large rock Bulma peers around the corner to find that the place is surrounded by people digging out the ruins. And it seems the next Dragon Ball is somewhere within said ruins.
"That's not good, they might find the Dragon Ball before us," Bulma said.
"Why don't we ask them nicely if we can have it?" Goku asked.
"Oh yes ask nicely a bunch of random strangers if we can take the wish-granting ball from them. Get real kid! Why don't you go beat them up so we can move on?" Bulma asked.
Goku then peered around the rock just to see some normal people digging up dirt.
"They don't look like bad people though," Goku said.
Bulma was starting to get frustrated and then breathes in and breathes out calming herself.
"Okay how about this, we wait until they go to sleep and then sneak past them to get the Dragon Ball in the ruins?" Bulma suggested.
"Well okay as long as we don't wake them up 'cause that would be rude," Goku said.
"The whole point about sneaking is not to wake them up," Bulma thought.
They hear screams in the campsite as various people start running and riding away on their carriages and Chocobos. As a big green mean-looking orc is stomping around.
"Fear the might of Orc Boss Oolong, these ruins are mine you hear me?!" the orc declared.
Not waiting for Bulma to tell him what to do Goku sprints out and stands before the terrifying Oolong. Oolong looks down at the boy confused.
"What are you lost, little boy? This is no place to play hero kid go bother someone else unless you want a piece of me," Oolong said.
"A piece of you? I don't eat things that talk," Goku said.
Oolong then fell to the ground due to the weight of the boy's sheer stupidity before getting back up.
"Listen you? I am a powerful great orc boss! I can call my boys anytime I want but I won't because I am more than enough to handle you," Oolong explained.
"Oh yeah?" Goku said before he delivered a poke with his Power Pole into Oolong's stomach.
Oolong then holds his stomach and is reeling on the ground in pain. As Bulma walks over to sees that Oolong is not as tough as he seemed. Then Oolong looks up to see the beautiful Bulma and then gets right back up.
"Now now, calm yourself kid I am a real orc I am just a shapeshifter I am sorry for causing trouble," Oolong explained.
"A shapeshifter huh? Then what do you look like?" Bulma asked.
Oolong made a mischievous grin.
"Allow me to show you," Oolong said.
And in a puff of smoke what was once an orc became a handsome pretty pink-haired elf man.
"I am Oolong the Changeling, a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Oolong said.
Goku was in awe to see the big orc man turn into a smaller man. While Bulma was more so drooling over his handsome features.
"Hi, I am Bulma. I am eighteen years old, rich, recently out of college, and single~" Bulma said.
"Eighteen years old huh? She is twice as old as I am though she doesn't need to know that. Nor does she need to know this is not my true form," Bulma thought.
"So Mr.Oolong would you like to help us find a Dragon Ball?" Goku asked.
Bulma then placed a hand on Goku's head dunking him.
"Yeah it's a treasure within these ruins and we were going to go grab it though you can have whatever else you can find in there," Bulma said.
"Why that would be lovely, of course, I'll help you. After all, you'll need my superb transformation techniques to get by," Oolong declared.
