Character Behavior
Inquisitive Pragmatist – The Chorus lacks data on current times, having been in stasis for millennia. They seek to replenish those empty data banks with as much information as they can harvest. There is nothing, no matter how small, that they will not find fascinating and desire to imprint, in the pursuit of understanding their new world – and perhaps piecing together their long forgotten past.

While capable of combat, it is not The Chorus’ prime directive. If they need to engage to survive or achieve an outcome, and it is certain they will be successful, they will fight. If odds predict a loss or unacceptable damage to its body, they will retreat. It is no more than a means to an end. As such, their battle style is very utilitarian.

Character History:

The Chorus is the culmination of COLOSSUS-X9, a gigantic robot fifty feet tall, reawakened from dysfunction. Its sole purpose was to preserve an entire society’s collection of minds and personalities in a digital ark in order to survive what is commonly known as The End.

Unfortunately, over the millennia, the data stores corrupted and the ark fell into disrepair, becoming buried beneath the earth of Cevanti’s wilds. To survive, COLOSSUS-X9 sent out specially fabricated drones in the shape of robotic spiders that could latch onto and take control of living creatures. Becoming mindless slaves, these new ‘members’ of the Chorus repaired the robot so it could function once again. Yet its digitised citizens were no longer sane – they believed they were in the midst of The End, and everything was a threat – and planned to wipe out all it encountered.

As it activated, a Saiyan named Orion engaged it in battle and defeated it. Removing its digital trove of souls, he handed it off to Kitriana Wilde, a talented researcher who specialised in research of The End. Upon running scans and trying to defragment the data within, a semblance of awareness returned to the digitised minds. Desperate and confused, they managed to hijack a humanoid droid and escape.

Now with hundreds of millennia-old voices awake within one robotic skeleton, the collective branded The Chorus seeks to understand the new world… and itself.
