Messaging
As mentioned previously, there isn't really any specific movement to keep track of this year. No map, no grid spaces, and thus no major need for secrets. There isn't any need to send in messages via PMs for anything, unless there's something you'd like to keep secret. Like your plans for tracking and/or attacking someone, you murderous little something or other.
For the most part, though, aside from the initial message regarding your specific role bonus, and any other items/prizes you might find or earn as rewards along the way, there's really no need to message privately.
If you wish to (I recommend doing so), you can make note of anything you do in your post itself, in a quite tag at the end. Keeping track of things like where you are, where you're moving to, who you're with, etc. Whatever you want to do.
If you wan to do any specific actions, like using Focus or trying to investigate a specific location/section of whatever area you're in, you can also certainly note that. Or send it in secretly, if you must.
The preferred method for any secret communications would be via the forum's private messaging/conversation system, so there's an easy and readily accessible record. However, I am not opposed to you asking questions, making requests, or sending in such things through Discord, if that is your preference; just make sure we both keep track of it, in such a case.
Lastly, as always, once you elect to do something there isn't any backing out or taking something back. Make sure you're set on your ideas before doing anything, as you never know when you'll stumble into something unexpected.
Updates
As mentioned earlier in the rules, time will always be marching on.
I will try and keep on top of things and provide updates/prompts for every group as you all progress. If I feel like you're working toward something or have some plan already, I may elect to leave you be and let you keep on trucking — you are free to correct my error in judgement and ask for a prompt/event at any time, however.
If nothing else, I will be providing universal updates whenever a new player/group enters or leaves an area, first discovers a new area, and a general quick 'status report' update for everyone still alive and kicking at least once per phase.
