Arriving via teleporter after whatever means were utilized to get them there, new arrivals and competitors will emerge into the gleaming hall of the facility. Set up and shaped like the lavish and luxurious entrance hall of a vintage and classic theater or exceptionally fancy hotel. There are no doors, only the banks of teleporters used to grant entrance and exit. Beyond them, there is a large front desk staffed by numerous employees and helpful staff who can assist with answering questions and filling out any last-minute paperwork or setting...affairs in order.

Leading out of the entrance hall one can find the elevators which lead to the higher levels of the facility, and the other portions of the pre-game staging area.

Elise materialized in the gleaming hall, her senses momentarily overwhelmed by the opulence and grandeur that surrounded her made her forget her realization that her sword suddenly disappeared. The walls sparkled with an otherworldly sheen, adorned with intricate patterns reminiscent of a bygone era. The floor beneath her seemed to shift between marble and a soft carpet, a surreal amalgamation of luxury.

As she looked around, she noticed the teleporters lining the hall, shimmering with cosmic energy. Beyond them stood a majestic front desk, attended by a team of impeccably dressed staff. The atmosphere exuded a vintage charm, akin to a classic theater or an upscale hotel.

The air was filled with a subtle hum of anticipation, and the staff bustled about, assisting other participants who were there before her.

Elise, feeling a bit out of place, timidly approached the front desk. A friendly receptionist with a warm smile welcomed her.

"Hello and welcome! Are you a participant in the competition?" the receptionist inquired, her voice a melodic blend of friendliness and efficiency.

Elise nodded hesitantly, "Yes, I am. Could you, um, tell me more about where I am and what's happening?"

The receptionist's smile widened, "Of course! You've entered the Carnival Rosa, a cross-dimensional event that brings together participants from various worlds. The competition is about to unfold in the grand arena, but before that, we offer a lot of facilities to keep you entertained. We can take you on a tour if you want," she offered, smiling fervently as she paused to wait for Elise' response.

Elise considered the offer for a moment, appreciating the warm welcome extended by the receptionist. The idea of exploring the facilities and familiarizing herself with the Carnival Rosa intrigued her.

"Yes, I'd appreciate a tour," Elise replied, returning a grateful smile. "I'm new to all of this, and it seems like there's much to discover."

The receptionist nodded, gesturing towards the expansive hall. "Excellent! Staff 72, can you lead Elise here, and show her some of our highlights."

"Would be happy to," the staff with a sparkling blue eyes and freckled cheeks gleefully responded, gesturing for Elise to follow her. As they approached the elevator that leads to the upper levels of the pre-staging area, Staff 72 pulled out a brochure and started advertising them to Elise.

"On the upper floors, we have a magnificent library," Staff 72 exclaimed with genuine excitement. "It houses an extensive collection of books from various worlds, each filled with stories and knowledge waiting to be explored. Whether you seek tales of heroic adventures or ancient lore, the library has it all."

We also have the Star Dome," she continued. "Imagine a breathtaking star dome that replicates the night sky. It surrounds a meticulously crafted park and forest, providing a tranquil retreat. It's the perfect place to unwind, connect with nature, or simply stargaze."

"Now, if you are eager to sharpen their skills, we have the Prep Level," she then added. "Equipped with standard gyms and state-of-the-art fitness equipment, it's the ideal space for physical training. Whether you're a seasoned warrior or a newcomer, the prep level caters to all levels of expertise."

"Lastly, we have the Recreation Level," the staff grinned. "Restaurants and bars offering a culinary journey through the Crossroads. From exotic dishes to familiar favorites, you can savor the diverse tastes of various worlds right here."

"So, Elise, what would you like to explore first? The wonders of literature, the celestial beauty of the Star Dome, the forge of strength on the Prep Level, or perhaps indulge in the diverse cuisine of the Recreation Level?"

Elise paused for a while, her visage reflecting a deep contemplative feature. After a few moments of contemplation, she finally opened her lips. "I'd like to visit the restaurants!"

Staff 72 smiled warmly before responding. "Excellent decision! The restaurants in our recreation showcase a culinary journey from various corners of the Crossroads. Follow me, and I'll lead you to the gastronomic wonders awaiting you."

The staff pressed a button on the elevator's side and shortly after, it slid open. As they entered the elevator, the doors slid closed again, and the ascent to the Recreation Level began. Elise's anticipation grew with each passing moment, wondering about the flavors she would encounter in this diverse culinary haven.
