Houshou Marine prefers charm over any sort of direct conflict, and will often resort to compliments or outright flirtation in order to get her way, or at least lower an enemy's guard.
She is also a pirate at heart, and will use underhanded methods if need be. While she prefers to not be in combat, that doesn't mean she isn't the sort to pull a pistol during a swordfight.

For the longest time, Houshou Marine was just a female cosplayer, pretending to be a pirate, while working as an idol. She tended to meet all manner of interesting people in her work, from a novice necromancer, to an actual adventuring pair of a cleric and elf! However, one day, her dream would come true, and she would be given a ship directly, leading her to a life of piracy.
Life on the open seas was ideal, with nothing really keeping her and her crew tied down to one place for very long. The prospect of adventure and treasure just over the horizon constantly called to her, making her seek an ever expanding sea. However, she would soon find that the world felt smaller as things were all discovered, with a lot less in it. And so, when a portal was opened before, leading to unfamiliar waters, she simply kept things steady, and set sail to a new adventure!

Essentially a barrel on a stick, it functions as a powerful hammer when swung in melee. Plus a handy, portable stool.
Flintlock - Damage 3/Removable/Ranged/Finite - 150 Essence
A single pistol with a single shot. And another 3 hidden.. somewhere on her body. Somehow.
Adaptation - Falling (Defenestration) - 100 Essence
When the odds of you being thrown through a window or off a ship are greater than 50, you tend to get used to rolling with the falls.

You can't swing from ropes, dodge giant boulders, and navigate a ship during a storm if you're slow!

While not the most active, Marine has managed to get quite in shape due to her adventurous lifestyle over the years.
