The Ex- Sgt snapped open his eyes and found himself standing next to a door much like his old base in the future. This couldn’t be right. His mission was to protect Sarah Connor in 1984 instead he was standing here in an unfamiliar area but staring at a base where his Commander and son had shown up.
Kyle was now tensed up, sweatdrops began to bead down his body. What was even weirder was that he was in his future soldier gear.
The only reason was to get an explanation right away.
The ex-solider had held his gun nearby and looked through the small door exit as a vaguely unfamiliar had slid the door open and asked for the number which seemed legit at the moment.
Connor was away, but he’d told numerous legends about his second in command and father. The men and women were familiar with the name, but nobody expected the man to show up here of all places.
Kyle repeated his number to the vaguely unfamiliar soldier peering in the window.
“Number?”
“DN38416” as the man in front slid the door closed and the door opened like nothing ever happened.
It’s like nothing changed in the base here from back home.
A few soldiers who had stayed back at the base eyes suddenly widened as the man who walked through the door was shaking.
“HOLY SHIT!” It’s him! Sgt?! How?! When?”
The soldiers' voices echoed throughout the base’s almost empty walls.
The legendary soldier was back in the base.
