Character History:
A native to the planet Erde Nona.
Born in the Indigo Chain, a series of small unimportant islands - trading among themselves to survive. The only lure of the islands from the outside is the suggestion of how easy it would be to hide from trouble as it is secluded without being unknown.

Around nine years old, Neona’s mother with a stiff face and a hardened heart told her daughter she would be leaving for the marketplace. Neona had promised to stay in the house until she got back, but only after her mother gave her the glass beaded bracelet she always seemed to wear. Gift in hand, the child waved her mother goodbye for the last time in her life…
It took a week of persistent whining and denial from the child before her father snapped.
It was not the first time he resorted to violence against his problems, and in short was the reason why Neona was abandoned. However, he was quick to blame the girl after slapping her across the apartment with the back of his hand.
She quickly became a quiet shut-in kind of girl, forced by the rise in her father’s anger if she spoke, cried, questioned, or even was in his sight for too long. When he drank it only got worse, and she learned to leave the house during certain times.
Because she was hardly seen and heard even less, no one knew what was going on. Rarely did he inflict so much damage on his daughter that he risked taking her out for medical attention, but when he did it was not without threats to kill her if she said anything about the truth of his abuse. No one knew the extent of her nightmare.
Then one day she met Crevan.
