Aquarius had made the decision that existing solely in Arcadia would not only continue to frustrate him while he was still in a place of preparation, it wasn’t going to help him achieve anything. The bustling capital was full of people displaying love for the city and he feared that would be the case. Finding associates interested in the rebirth of a kingdom would be a marginal task and his patience was to be the key factor. No matter how it abated.
The machine found his way to some quiet bar on the outskirts of Arcadia. Nearby enough for people to feel comfortable starting their journeys but far enough away to feel as if you’d gone somewhere. He entered without reading the sign and approached the barkeep.
“I don’t consume much, but here’s something for my stay.” Aquarius handed the woman behind the counter a handful of coins and she nodded his way.
He found a neat corner near a man playing the sitar and sat beside him to enjoy the stoic, pretty music. All that was left was to wait for the colorful people to wander in, and make his acquaintance.
