Character Behavior
Altruistic Generalist - Link is, at heart, a hero through and through. He rarely makes a choice without considering whether or not it would benefit those around him or other innocent lives. Link is quick to throw himself at whatever evil lays before him.

In battle, Link serves the role of a generalist. He is able to fight at range with his bow or up close and personal with the Master Sword. He even has some experience with magic, gifted to him by the Great Fairies. Whatever the situation, Link is generally able to get by on his wits and whatever equipment he has to hand.

Character History:

*Shamelessly yoinked from the wiki

Link had been raised as one of the Kokiri, the children of Kokiri Forest. Unlike the other Kokiri, Link did not have a Fairy companion and was shunned by their self-proclaimed leader, Mido. Link had a nightmare involving a princess fleeing from a man who then attacked him. The boy's life changed one day when the Great Deku Tree, the forest's guardian, sends Navi the Fairy to Link with instructions to bring him immediately. A curse had been cast on the Great Deku Tree, and he asked Link to break it. While Link was successful in defeating the monsters inside the Tree, the Great Deku Tree was doomed to die before Link started. He had been cursed by a man named Ganondorf, as revenge for not giving him the Kokiri's Emerald. He warned Link that this evil man sought the Triforce, and feared a great calamity will befall Hyrule should he seize it. Before passing away, the Great Deku Tree directed Link to Hyrule Castle where he would find Princess Zelda.

At the Hyrule Castle garden, Link met Princess Zelda. She believed that Ganondorf was seeking the Triforce. Zelda's description of Ganondorf matches that of the man who killed the Great Deku Tree, as well as the man from Link's nightmare. Zelda asked Link to obtain the three Spiritual Stones so that he could enter the Sacred Realm and claim the Triforce before Ganondorf reached it, and ultimately save Hyrule. Link collected the other two stones: the first from Darunia, the leader of the Gorons, and the second from Ruto, the princess of the Zoras. Link returned to Hyrule Castle, where Ganondorf was pursuing Zelda and her caretaker Impa on horseback, as in his earlier nightmare. Link attempted to stop Ganondorf, who warns him not to interfere with his plans. After Ganondorf rode away, Link retrieved the Ocarina of Time that Zelda had left behind for him. Inside the Temple of Time, Link used the Ocarina of Time and the Spiritual Stones to open the door to the Sacred Realm. Through the door, Link found the Master Sword, a legendary sword forged to destroy evil. As he pulled the Master Sword from its pedestal, Link is sealed away due to not being of age to wield the blade yet, and Ganondorf appeared to claim the Triforce for himself. Seven years later, an older Link was awakened as the Hero of Time by Rauru, the Sage of Light. Rauru explained that Link's spirit was sealed for seven years until he was old enough to wield the Master Sword and defeat Ganondorf, who had ascended to the King of Evil. The seven Sages can imprison Ganondorf in the Sacred Realm, but five were not aware of their identities as Sages. Link was returned to the Temple of Time; there he met the mysterious Sheik, who guided him to temples under Ganondorf's control. Link defeated the evil lurking in each temple, thus awakening Saria, Darunia, Ruto, Impa and Nabooru as the Sages. Link also returned to the Kokiri Forest, where he finds that none of his friends have grown up, and most now no longer recognize him. After awakening Saria as a Sage, Link also found that the Deku Tree Sprout has sprouted as the successor to the Great Deku Tree. He revealed Link's hidden past and explains to him that he is not a Kokiri, but actually a Hylian, orphaned in the wars that raged before Hyrule was united. When Link was a baby, his mother fled with him to Kokiri Forest and, mortally wounded, left him under the Deku Tree's protection. He was brought up as one of the Kokiri and knew no differently.

After the five Sages awaken, Sheik revealed herself to be Princess Zelda in disguise and the seventh Sage. She told Link that Ganondorf's heart was unbalanced, causing the Triforce to split into three pieces. Ganondorf acquired only the Triforce of Power, while Zelda received the Triforce of Wisdom and Link the Triforce of Courage. Ganondorf then kidnapped Zelda and imprisoned her in his castle. The other six Sages helped Link enter the castle, where he fought to the evil king's sanctum. There, Link freed Zelda and nearly defeated Ganondorf, but he destroyed the castle in an attempt to kill Link and Zelda. After the duo escaped the collapsing castle, Ganondorf emerged from the rubble and engages Link. Using the Triforce of Power, he transformed from his human form into a boar-like monster named Ganon and immediately knocked the Master Sword from Link's hand. With Zelda's aid, Link retrieved the Master Sword and defeated Ganon. The seven Sages then sealed Ganondorf into the Dark Realm. The battle now over, Zelda used the Ocarina of Time to send Link back to his original time to live out his childhood, at which point Navi departs. Only, he didn't awaken as a child.. he arrived in the Crossroads, still an adult.

Abilities/Skills:

Master Sword
Damage 6 (600)
- Removable (300)
Total: 300
Description: The Master Sword, also known as the Blade of Evil's Bane, is Link's favoured weapon. Generally wielded in one hand, alongside his Hylian Shield, Link uses this weapon to great effect. The blade is even able to conjure up energy attacks in the form of the Great Spin.

Hylian Shield
Protection 6 (600)
- Removable (300)
Total: 300
Description: It is the traditional Shield bore by the Knights of Hyrule and is commonly used by Link alongside the Master Sword. Though it is made of steel, it is light and sturdy, an optimal weight for a fighter with a one-handed weapon.

Fairy Bow
Damage 6 (600)
- Ranged (300)
- Concentration (-300)
- Removable (-300)
Debuff 4 (Ice Arrows) (400)
- Ongoing (400)
- Ranged (200)
- Finite - 4 uses before Link much recharge (-200)
- Weakness (Fire, heat) (-100)
- Removable (-200)
Debuff 6 (Light Arrows) (600)
- Ranged (300)
- Finite - 4 Uses before Link must recharge (-300)
- Removable (-300)
Total: 1200
Description: The Fairy Bow is Link's ranged weapon of choice. His quiver holds a total of 30 arrows, 8 of which are Ice and 4 Light. The Ice Arrows erupt in an explosion of ice, freezing Link's target in place. The Light arrows explode in a blinding flash of light, leaving Link's target stunned for a few seconds. Link also carries 3 fire arrows. (I've left the fire arrows without their own debuff as I'd rather just use them as flavour until I can afford to buy another ongoing damage thing)

Double Clawshot
Movement 1 (200)
- Speed 1 (200)
Move Object 2 (200)
- Ranged (100)
Total: 700
Description: A pair of Clawshots that Link can use to traverse difficult terrain by swinging. He can also use them to attach to and pull items (or people) towards him.

Affinities: Formidable

Total Essence Spent: 2500

Hey there, hero of time! Your application looks good ultimately, but you've ultimately depowered yourself a bit here.
Let's go over a few of the corrections:
-assuming you need your fairy bow to use both ice and light arrows, both of these should have the Removable addition to keep with the theme, which should save you a fair bit of essence>
-On double clawshot, Movement typically doesn't need modifiers like 'ranged', for something like what you're doing here, and would only require that modifier in very exotic circumstances. For things like swinging across terrain with the clawshots, I do not believe you need the ranged modifier, though it would be required for your "move object" effect still.
