Appearances

Gilgamesh has the appearance of a young adult man with spikey blonde hair. He comes clad in his trademark armor and with his trademarked 'charisma' (his words).

Personality / Lore

As much as other contestants, Gilgamesh is something of an institution in this franchise. A perennial participant, he understands that this is theatre as much as anything else. Outside of the world of Syntech, Gilgamesh is a king who believes he is the rightful owner of all things. Inside of the Syntech, he is Fleet Admiral-Commander-God-King-Grand-Champion Gilgamesh. While he won't trip you in the cafeteria for fun, you shouldn't expect him to go out of his way to be overly kind to some random person he stumbles across. To his allies, he treats them tenderly and is extremely protective. He is extremely vindictive of his enemies and will use harsh language and isn't afraid to put them down.

Possible Reactions

Gilgamesh both hates being here and kind of enjoys it. He will use, manipulate, and betray people who aren't part of his circle of benefactors and allies, and he is smart enough to use strategy in order to get his way. He, however, has a sense of honor and will probably not betray people he thinks might take it personally or who he might have to work with in the future. In response to betrayal, he'll act vengefully and will destroy those who dare betray him. When his goal is at hand, he becomes very serious and often cuts straight to the work rather than play with his enemies.

Relationships

I'll update this closer to launch.

Fighting Style

Gilgamesh hates to face people who are not worthy of him and will often just give it a half effort. He'll face them more as a joke rather than a real fight. He prefers to do it at a distance but won't shy from going in hand to hand combat if necessary. Naturally, as he starts to get 'pushed' and worn down, this patina will erode to reveal someone who is fully capable of choking you to death in a sewer. Will he love it? No. Will it make him feel better? Yea, definitely.

NPC Handicap and Notes

Handicap – Gilgamesh is essentially the 'Final Boss' of Dante's Abyss. You know it. He knows it. His Handicap is a 5.
Notes – Gilgamesh, while technically not a real villain, is prone to egotism and self-indulgence like the best of us. Unlike many of his ilk, he's also smart enough to know how to manipulate people and situations to be in his favor. He can come off as charming to one person and smarmy and self-obsessed to the next. The only real exception to this is Deadpool, who seems to know exactly what buttons to press to get the worst of Gilgamesh.
Unique – Gilgamesh comes equipped, alongside whatever he randomly rolls, with the Infinity Gauntlet. At the cost of 1 Focus, he can use any Stone for a F2F. Be glad he can't also transform into Gilgamech (even Karl has his limits).
Focus - 5
