Red XIII is as depicted to the right. He is a lion-sized dog-cat sort of a beast with some scars and markings from his youth as an experiment.
Personality / Lore
Red XIII once helped save his home world from destruction. After that, he had resigned himself to an eventual end with the conclusion of his likely accelerated lifespan. Fate would intervene, and he found himself drawn to a new world, where new problems and injustices abounded. Red XIII took this opportunity to use his gathered wisdom and strength to serve as a beacon of support for many, and his desire to help caused him to join Karl Jak's 'expedition' to an unknown island (Dante's Abyss XI), where his skills would help save the denizens of an isolated island and their benefactor, the man in the purple suit.
Possible Reactions
Red XIII ('Nanaki' to those he is familiar with) is a terrifying sight to see, but he is actually a very approachable and almost benevolent entity. As noted throughout this profile, he is likely to see into the heart of anyone in short order, making him an adversary for those with ill-intentions and an ally for those less inclined to over-indulging in the violence and spectacle of this event. Likely not one to ambush anyone.

Fighting Style
A four-legged friend to some, Red XIII has great mobility and agility, allowing him to strike from anywhere and be gone quickly. His magicks are also potent, and when cornered, he is literally a lion-sized dog beast with gnashing teeth and razor-sharp claws. Even so, he is a noble 'beast', and he will fight so until pushed beyond these constraints.
NPC Handicap and Notes
Handicap – Red XIII survived a crucible of madness and death to claim the mantle of Grand Champion. Even so, he remains an unlikely champion, given his good-natured manners, benevolent spirit, and open heart. His handicap is a 2.
Notes – Red XIII is smart beyond his years (regardless of if you count them in human, dog, or dog-experiment). He is likely to be compassionate and helpful to those who deserve it and standoffish and aggressive to those who are clearly of ill-intent.
Notes 2 - I'll probably type this dude's name as 'Red 13' on at least six to forty three occasions. I apologize if that bothers anyone.
Unique – On two occasions, Red XII can cast 'Stardust Ray'. This attack will randomly target one person on the island (not whoever Red is currently with). Red can cast this inside or outside of combat (standard Super Attack rules apply)
