Between the Perspectives

[Saryuu Evan]

Meanwhile, Fei and Beta were out in the lobby area, exiting out of the inn, for awhile as there had been several people looking in their direction while some were ignoring them and going on their own routines. However, it didn't help there were several whispers going on in the background as it was in this very inn that Beta showed up and tracked them down before they did an investigation of the strange activities as of late.

In fact, what Beta did was cause a scenario around the place and that's why some people are looking at them weird. Just hope that it doesn't get anymore worse than this for their own sake because he really doesn't want any trouble especially with the whole cultists ordeal lingering around the place.

Since the duo are now in the streets, the activity were calming down as the day was approaching to a close, let alone not as crowded as it was earlier when they were investigating around the town. Of course, Saryuu was on his own as they were together while walking along and getting a view of the buildings among other things while traversing.

"You know, why can't Saryuu do what he is told and stay out of situations? This wouldn't had happened if he just stayed in his place." Beta huffed before she asked. "Anyways, now about the mysterious communicator that Saryuu has?"

He perked up. "Yeah?"

"Does he really have one because something tells me you're lying." Beta smiled. "I didn't remember Saryuu ever having a communicator on him like you do. Is there something going on that I don't know about?"

Fei was quiet for a bit as he thought on how would Beta react if Saryuu has his powers returning?

"Let me address you something. If there was somehow Saryuu got his Second Stage powers back, then we have a problem because last I remembered, you and the others were vaccinated so those powers wouldn't return. He should be powerless much like you."

He knew he wasn't powerless because his powers had been returning, just not as much as Saryuu was. In fact, he wanted to keep it on down low because if someone like Beta found out, then he would be in the same situation as Saryuu is. However, he did seem to be curious as it should be impossible but maybe the library around here could provide insight as he knows the Crossroads are different than what they know.

In fact, the greenette had to keep calm.

"Well, sorry to say but I don't see anything off other than the cultists and other things going on around here."

The greenette was lying under his breath and he didn't particularly like talking about this if it's going to spark another situation, however, Beta, again, was silent for a moment before she huffed.

"Hey Beta, can we talk about something else? We have other things to worry about."

"Fine." Beta sighed as Fei nodded before looked around for a bit.

All for now, they were taking in the sights but as for Fei, he wondered when Saryuu would be back. It wasn't that long ago since they did last talk but he was concerned to an extent especially when they need to figure out something before nightfall.

 

[Jak]

“Uh, Jak?” Daxter finally regained his confidence getting a new pair of clothes.

Jak facepalmed “Dax, I can’t keep getting you a new pair of clothing every time you change back and forth.

Daxter huffed “I can’t help it, at least I can change forms.”

Jak sighed “Just… be more cautious in front of the guys, alright.”

Daxter sighed “fine, Jak.”

“See you guys later” Jak and Daxter casually waved to the guys in Uruk heading back to Erde Noda. After a brief night in a hotel, they took the long way back to erde.

Jak just eyed the crowds around Erde, on occasion swerving around the usual crowds.

Daxter nodded “Who are you looking for , Jak?”

Just then Daxter blinked as someone bumped into him. “Whoa whoa… “

Jak turned to notice who bumped into Daxter.

 

[Saryuu Evan]

Fei perked up as he felt something bump against him when he wasn't looking and backed off, only to notice the company.

"Oh, I'm sorry, excuse me."

Beta stopped as well as she looked to Fei who has bumped into the stranger and took a moment to look at the both of them. Somehow, there was this feeling about them that was something familiar to Saryuu before they changed over a new leaf or so it may seem to her.

She was still skeptical of the duo and especially when she has crossed her arms with her eyes narrowed to a degree.

Between Fei and Beta, the greenette felt the tension going on and wasn't a fan of it before he would look at Beta, hoping that this wouldn't turn into a situation. It is already bad enough to what they had to deal with and he was hoping that it would be alright.

"Um, Beta, we should get going. I don't think we should be hanging around for too long."

The greenette was trying to sound as friendly as possible even though Beta is giving off an aria of seriousness towards the duo.

 

[Jak]

The eco warrior blinked as the human Daxter blinked “hey! You bumped into me!” What’s the rush?”

Jak didn’t have his Morph gun but he was trying to keep his hands on his sword.

The sword gleamed green.

Daxter sweat dropped when he swore Jak ran a fair distance away holding his head. “Everything’s just fine.

“Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrragh!” Dark eyed the three with darker eyes.

 

[Saryuu Evan]

"Everything's fine?! Excuse me but that isn't fine!" Beta scolded as she noticed the other individual had darker eyes than normal.

In fact, she was almost reminded of the time that Saryuu miximaxed to a literal gorilla monster before and judging by Fei, the greenette was surprised as he was caught offguard by this revelation.

"Are they going to be okay?" the greenette asked with a frown with a concerned tone as he looked to Daxter.

He wasn't afraid, just surprised, and to a degree, concerned while Beta was still on guard, however, if Saryuu saw this, there no doubt he would stepped in but he wasn't here right now so the both of them would have to hold their ground.

 

[Jak]

Daxter could only stare back at The demon man known as dark.

“Alright, he’s not fine.”

It’s a long story and you probably are wondering why I’m nervous around my own pal, you two.

Dark’s hair was purplish, washed by hints of dark eco, horns jutted from the man’s head as he growled.

This was dark’s adult beast form.

And he thirsted for blood.

Seconds later, the hero that was going to save Erde might be its worst villain.
