What's New?

Quite a bit!

This version of the event will be a departure from previous. In what ways? Several, but most notable the following:
• There will be no map this time around. Or at least, not one with any grid to track or movements to submit for moving through.
• There isn't any objective to kill off anyone/everyone else. At the end of this all, there will only be one 'winner', so in-character you're obviously free to do so, but it won't be the primary objective.
• Beyond the obvious of 'survive', the objectives will be murky. Think of this one sort of like a relatively free-form tabletop game. I will provide some prompts here and there for you all to write and progress with. Some of these may be violent and involve fights, some may simply be plot updates/events to help guide or push you onward, some might be entirely different.
• There will be two distinctions made for progress in this event: Eliminated and Dead. The former simply means your current 'rank', so to speak, gets locked in (along with your coin prize) and you are no longer eligible for final prize contention, but you are still alive and can continue to write and accrue more participation awards. Dead is, obviously, dead and you're done with the event.
• Yes, the above does mean that it is technically possible for everyone to survive to the end, if you all play your cards right.

Barring any extra eliminations/deaths from inactivity or accrued damage, my current plan is to Eliminate one person every Phase until only one person remains in contention for the final prize. This is very, very much subject to change according to how things progress.

You mentioned fights...

Correct. Very astute. Yes I did. Along with several other things.

Suffice to say that I will be monitoring what you get up to in your posts closely, and trying to keep track of what you're up to/what your plan is, and provide prompts accordingly, at least once per phase update (more to come on that later). These updates/prompts/events (whatever you wish to call them) will be to provide a little direction or idea more than anything. Some of them will lead to very obvious danger, or may have violence thrust in your face directly. It's up to you all how you respond to them when they're presented, and the outcome of doing so will depend on what you do and how well you write doing it.

Anything else?

Possibly. There may be some further surprises waiting for you out there. I can't spoil everything right out of the gate, can I?
