Elizabeth La Varet
Elizabeth is the only surviving member of her house. During the Siege of Markov she was removed from cryogenic storage at Cytokine Industries and released on her own recognisance to resume her duties as a pilot. During the rebellion she was a mech pilot for House La Varet, fighting under the Dulmare flag. She is the original pilot of the Tallgeese project. Tallgeese I and Tallgeese II were destroyed in two separate battles of the war where the Imperial Throne saw victory. With the destruction of Tallgeese I she sustained a back injury that put her out of commission during the development of Tallgeese II. During this time she endured grueling physical therapy and eventually decided to work her body as much as she could to withstand further punishment. During the second battle where Tallgeese II was destroyed her left leg was crushed due to a devastating direct hit to the cockpit. They managed to pry her out, but her bones were shattered and her muscles just..didn’t exist anymore. In an emergency effort to keep the only pilot they had who could pilot Tallgeese, they implanted her left leg with stellurium replacement bones along with an artificial knee. They grafted cybernetic muscles onto the new skeleton and were able to save her skin, letting her keep a normal appearance. With this new technology came the use of Luciferium nanites to greatly improve her natural healing ability and to make sure her repaired leg functioned. The only downside is that she needed to take the little red pills every six days. During physical therapy for her leg, during the attempted repair of Tallgeese II and development of III, her cybernetics pulled loose from her bone structure and she was immediately hospitalized and given an immense dose of Luciferium that put her into a coma, which put the project completely out of commission. The research team was determined to complete Tallgeese III while any attempt to resuscitate Elizabeth was made. With the end of the war coming and reality melting apart with void energy the decision to cryogenically freeze her and let someone else solve the problem was made. They banished her to a cryo tube and abandoned the facility once Tallgeese III was complete. The facility was set to be destroyed by a thermonuclear fusion device, but it failed to fire and the facility was left to rot. The team that discovered Tallgeese III transported Elizabeth to Cytokine Industries for storage. They managed to stumble across the logs and data files regarding her situation and filed them away along with her body for a later date. When she was finally thawed out, emergency surgery was performed using the latest technology to repair her leg and to bring her out of her coma. She was released under her own care where she joined the Pilot’s Union in their fight during the Siege of Markov. Various documents and paperwork were assigned to her roster that granted her ownership of the Tallgeese III mech, as she was only one capable of piloting it, and her career as a mech pilot began once again.

Elizabeth is a pragmatic rebel. Under the Dulmare flag during the rebellion she fought to free the Houses from the oppression and stranglehold of the Empire of Ilos. She is a rebel fighter at heart. She stands up for those who cannot defend themselves. She wants everyone to have a sustainable way of life in Markov and fights to defend the city with her life. She is focussed, goal oriented, and a nice person, but she knows when someone is taking advantage of her.

House La Varet

House La Varet is one of the many families to rally behind House Dulmare during the rebellion against the Imperial throne of Ilos. Tired of the Empire and its stranglehold the La Varet family took up arms. As a wealthy family they were able to invest in mechs and advanced infantry for the resistance, bolstering its numbers. They were allied closely with the Ramsey family at the start of the war who had little to no known members left from the first skirmish of the war. House La Varet fielded above average mech pilots and good, solid infantry. Their main strength was their vast wealth. They controlled a majority of the stelluirum factories in the Empire. Stellurium is the manufactured form of starmetal which is harvested from Cevanti's moon Caelum. Stellurium metals were used in the construction of everything, including other advanced materials and composites. This struck a heavy blow against the Empire as their major supply was immediately cut off and used to fuel the resistance. Using their vast wealth, House La Varet spearheaded multiple advanced development programs involving mechs. They were proud until the very end.

Talgeese III

Tallgeese III. The third iteration of the base Tallgeese mobile suit. It was discovered by a Cytokine archaeological team investigating a ruined mech factory on the equator of Cevanti. There were three variants of the Tallgeese inside the hangar and only Tallgeese III was still functional. The other two had massive damage to both the superstructure and its internal components. The reactors had also been removed and the housings irreparably damaged. The Cytokine team transported the mech back to the Pilot’s Union for a complete overhaul and refit. Many of the original systems were still intact, including the experimental minvosky reactor powering the thing. Based on collected data it proved to be a massive improvement all around to the original build. It included a neural link to the pilot for split second reaction times meaning only a select few could actually fly the thing. Its vulcan guns were upgraded from the standard 60mm round to an armor-piercing 75mm round capable of taking out lesser mobile suits and shredding moderately sized zoids. It came equipped with a shield that had a heat rod whip attached to it capable of reaching critical levels that could melt whatever it was entwined around. Coupled with the shield attached to its left arm were twin beam sabres that were stored behind the shield itself. Attached to its right side was a charge particle beam weapon capable of shredding through even the toughest targets at long range. Firing of the weapon was restricted to three successive shots before the barrel had to cool and the capacitor needed to recharge. Improved mobility thrusters and large thrust packs on its back gave it superior mobility on the battlefield compared to other mechs of its size. The whole suit was powered by an extra large custom made minvosky fusion reactor capable of operating at 200% capacity.
