Scheming Aggressor
Above all, Ganondorf desires power and control. However, taking it by force is not always the smartest option, or an option at all. Thus he has learned to make plans, think ahead, and deceive in order to achieve his goals.
Born with near unlimited potential in dark magic and expertly skilled with a plethora of weapons, Ganondorf has every right to feel confident in his power. This often leads to him initiating combat and makes his fighting style offensive and persistent, looking to wear down foes with powerful strikes rather than enduring or dodging blows for an opening.
History
Ganondorf was born into the Gerudo clan eons ago. His birthright by being the only male born in 100 years was to become king, and that's what he did. As King Rauru and Queen Sonia established a kingdom of allied races, Ganondorf would not acquiesce. His people deserved to live as the rulers, not subservient beneath another.
After a failed attempt at using a herd of Molduga to attack the royal castle, Ganondorf appeared to bend the knee to Rauru. However, it was all a ruse in order to get close enough to steal one of Rauru's prized possessions - a Secret Stone. These heavenly jewels amplified the natural power of its wielder, and Ganondorf knew it would bolster his power to levels undreamed of.
Through trickery, Ganondorf killed Queen Sonia and snatched her Secret Stone. Embedding it in his forehead, Ganondorf imbued his own Darkness into the jewel, transforming into the Demon King. With his unbridled dark magic, Ganondorf waged a war against the Kingdom of Hyrule. He effortlessly beat back any opposition.
The leaders of the Hyrulean allied races joined together to assault Ganondorf in one final confrontation, but even with their Secret Stones maximising their powers, the Demon King made short work of them. Rauru decided to sacrifice his life in order to lock Ganondorf in a magical stasis, putting his hope in the words of the time travelling Zelda that a heroic Hylian swordsman would defeat him in the future.
Eventually Rauru's power waned and Ganondorf awoke many millennia in the future, far beyond the foundings of Hyrule. Emaciated and lacking his full strength but still far superior to the Link and Zelda that wandered into his chamber, he launched Hyrule Castle into the sky, along with numerous other chunks of land. His Gloom, a corruptive magic that stole away the light and made those who touched it sick, spread across Hyrule, as did his monster army.
Eventually Link returned with an empowered Master Sword. Ganondorf, having regained his full strength, faced off with the one supposed to defeat him. After a climactic battle, Link had bested the Demon King. However, Ganondorf would not surrender. He executed the forbidden act of consuming the Secret Stone, transforming him into a giant demonic dragon. Having lost all sense of himself, the Demon Dragon lashed out at Link and dragged him into the sky, but a white scaled dragon rushed to his aid - Zelda, who had also swallowed a Secret Stone in the past, so that she could survive long enough to help stop Ganondorf.
Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf clashed high above Hyrule. Once again, Link defeated him, plunging the Master Sword into the Secret Stone in the Demon Dragon's forehead, shattering it. The unstable jewel exploded, erasing Ganondorf from Hyrule.
