Ganyu is a soft and caring individual known to look after and protect those around her. As a secretary and emissary to the Liyue court in Teyvat, Ganyu is rather studies in public affairs and dutiful when following orders from her superiors. She is gentle towards strangers, but fierce against her opponents.
When in combat, Ganyu prefers to sport a bow, however this isn't the only trick up her sleeve. As an adepti, and a vision user, she has gained an amazing affinity for ice and snow; able to charge arrows with extremely cold, explosive damage; create flowers made of ice that function like landmines and bring about a blizzard of raining ice.
Typically, Ganyu will attempt to avoid combat if necessary, but will not allow anyone to hurt the ones she cares about, or those who disturb the peace of Liyue.
Physical Description:
Despite being an adepti, a magical being charged with the protection of Liyue's laws and contracts, Ganyu looks almost entirely human. If not for the two black horns on her head, on might mistake her for your average archer. She stands around 5' 4" tall, weighing in at about 140lbs and appearing more fit than the average woman. Her clothing is rather eccentric, typically she wears a body suit covered under a loose, short, qipao style robe/dress. Her light blue hair draws attention to lilac eyes, or perhaps the black and red horns connected to her skull.
Character History:
As one of the protectors of the Nation of Contracts, Ganyu watched over Liyue inside the walls of it's famous harbor. Not only charged with this task as an adepti, she is also the emissary and secretary of Liyue's leaders known as the Qixing. Since she's an adepti, Ganyu was also gifted with a longer life span than any normal person. She fought in the Archon War with her fellow adepti and has lived to tell the tale thousands of years later.
To this day, Ganyu simply wishes to help protect the peace and tranquility of her homeland, even after Rex Lapis' death. Though her heart hangs heavy that she was not present to help him that day, she continues to become better at her work so that this peace never sees disturbance. Waking up on Erde Nona was definitely not part of that agenda.

Ganyu's mastery with a bow is nigh unmatched. Thanks to the power of her vision, she can summon arrows made completely out of frozen energy at will and fire them like any normal arrow. The strength of this devastating arrow is strong enough to down almost any second rate enemy that dared to step into the adepti's line of sight. There is a simple caveat, however: Her full attention must lie on her bow and target, making it exceptionally difficult to do anything other than fire her arrows. As well, her arrows cannot be fired without a bow as a catalyst and can only be fired from a certain distance.(Roughly 180m/600ft)

Complete complacency and determined patience is a key aspect to Ganyu's archery. If she so finds the time to do so, a icy cold aura will surround her arrow when pulling back her bow. If the bow reaches it's full potential at ten seconds of draw, it will gain the Frostflake Shower effect. No matter where the arrow lands, it will explode on impact forming above it's initial point of impact and rain small shards of icicles upon everything around it. Of course, it cannot be used if Ganyu does not have her bow.

Archery is not Ganyu's only way to fight. With Cryo Vision, she is able to construct and use ice as fluently as her bow. In particular, she creates icicle flowers with closed buds. Upon first glance, one might mistake them as a sort of buff aura or sculpture, but this is far from the truth. Once the flower blooms, it is then armed to be fire icicle shots much like her own arrows at hostiles within it's radius. It will continuously pulse on targets in it's range if Ganyu deems them a hostile, but can be shattered if enough damage is brought to bear.

Ganyu summons her most powerful and taxing skill: The Elemental Burst. Using this deems that her life feels threatened and she must use her trump card. Summoning an orb of ice, Ganyu releases it into the air where it grows in size and turns into a blizzard of raining icicles bigger than her own size. They crash onto the ground and shatter upon impact. This ability is only charged for a single use every hour, meaning that it can only be used a single time per encounter. Likewise, when this ability is used, all ice flowers created by 'Elemental Skill: Trail of the Qilin' are instantly shattered and used up. The ice will continue to rain for twenty seconds in a twenty foot radius before dissipating.
When standing within the radius of Celestial Shower, opponents of Ganyu will find the air to be thick with a chillin' aura. It will impede their movement unless they can resist the slowing effects of ice. This attack cannot work against ice.
