James Moriarty is a Criminal Consultant. Moriarty is a calculating, dignified megalomaniac and delights in organizing elaborate schemes of the decidedly criminal variety. Nicknamed "The Napoleon of Crime", his incredible skill as both a tactician and an actor grants him a distinguished position among the corrupt and lawless. He often operates behind the scenes, preferring to avoid physical altercations and send others in his stead, but if pressed into combat he is able to hold his own.
Physical Description:
James Moriarty is a roughly 55 year old Caucasian man of a slender build and a sophisticated demeanor. He has pale skin, sharp blue-grey eyes, and silvery, slicked back hair, though a single strand tends to dangle across his forehead. He wears spectacles and has a rather impressive mustache, always neatly groomed. When feeling especially dramatic, he wears a dapper and meticulously detailed suit, with a floor-length cape that resembles the feathery-patterned wings of a Ulysses butterfly tossed over his shoulder. His shoes are finely polished, his waistcoat’s buttons glitter spectacularly, and that’s to say nothing of the ornamental pieces decorating his shoulders. The man’s got style.
Character History:
A criminal operating within the city of Markov, James Moriarty seemed to just... appear one day, making a home for himself within the dilapidated slums of Cevanti's last megahaven. As his day job, though, he works as a professor of mathematics at one of Markov's top training facilities meant to match the metropolis' incredible demand for industrial technicians.
In the wake of the Siege of Markov, Moriarty's interest has moved beyond the criminal sphere-- focusing instead on bolstering the city's defenses... in his own way.
