Character Name: Jeremy Fielder

Character Source: Fate OC

Location: Opealon

Character Behavior:

Jeremy is a goofy master.

Loud and excitable, Jeremy is a goofball at heart. He is innately an entertainer. Almost everything he does is at least partially geared towards cheering someone else up or making them laugh, from the most basic silly voices and sounds, to absurd and obviously ridiculous stories, to elaborate, even overly complex performances.

However, despite what one might expect from his knight costume, Jeremy does not excel in combat himself. While decently strong, he is still a mortal human, and while he has decent magical potential, it is almost entirely untapped. His only saving grace in combat is a relatively high altitude for the use of a contracted Heroic Spirit as a Servant. Unfortunately for him, however, he is currently uncontracted.

Jeremy stands at around 6’ and tends to wear a Templar knight Halloween costume.

Character History:

For most of his life, Jeremy was just your average amateur comedian living in the middle of nowhere, USA. His quiet life was interrupted, however, when he was approached with an offer unlike anything he could have ever imagined. His little town was set to be the stage for a war for the Holy Grail, and he was being given the chance to be a part of it.

Donning the mantle of “Sir Jeremy Fielder”, as well as a crusader costume (confusing almost every different type of knight into one messy idea), he contracted with the Saber Beowulf and teamed up with his old college classmate Bridget. After no small amount of trials, tribulations, and stabbings, the war ended with Saber sacrificing himself, saving Jeremy and Bridget from the enemy Rider with the assistance of the goddess Tsukuyomi at the cost of losing the war.

At the war’s conclusion, the goddess offered Jeremy a consolation wish, which he used to repair his hometown which had been ruined in the events of the war, and made him promise never to get involved in magic again. He earnestly agreed to this, fully intending to keep this promise, until he found himself in an alien world with no explanation as to how or why he was here.

Surely Tsuyu won’t mind just a liiiiittle more magic.

A Noble Phantasm replicated by Ovid’s own, this particular weapon is the spear of the Theban king Cadmus. A brilliant silver spear, it is a potent, if mundane, weapon in melee combat, as in this form it has not reached its true potential. As with every Noble Phantasm he creates, Caster cannot use the spear himself.

A wry, intelligent man with a knowing smile and a passion for story-telling, Caster’s true identity is Pūblius Ovidius Nāsō (though he insists you just call him Ovid), one of the most famous poets of Rome. Due to the threat posed by Darkseid and the unmaking, he has been summoned as Jeremy Fielder’s servant.

He is a humble man whose primary goal is to spread the stories of the great legends of humanity, primarily those of Greece and Rome, and though he is quite clever, he tends to lean more towards the emotional side rather than the logical one, and is always ready to dispense some wisdom for anyone who needs it. In combat, he is relatively harmless. His Noble Phantasm, “Metamorphoses - My Soul Compels Me to Sing”, is purely supportive, creating legendary weapons that he himself cannot use, just as he can bring legends to life through poetry despite being a mere mortal himself.
