Character Behavior
Simple is Nanaue. He processes things as they come, and he never has an ounce of foresight. He sees things as they are: are a spade is a spade. It's easy for him to see a sign of aggression in an ounce of movement.

Predator is the other side of Nanaue. He's a hungry guy. He has a couple of folks he likes, but if you meet him when his stomach's rumbling, he'll be a thug who might shove you into his big ol' jaws.

Character History:

Nanaue was born on Opealon. He was born to a human mother who got Zeus'd. She was forced to raise a very simple shark child.

It was hard for King Shark to branch out on his own.

One day he made his way up onto the floating islands, maybe by accident, and was escorted into a Death Game interview booth. He did his interview, and blunderbussed his way into meeting an Angel, a Death Game associate, two Yakuza, and a World Champion. From there he ham-swung his way into the top five of a deadly competition.

His mother appropriated his winnings and paid for his revival. When Nanaue came to life again, he stepped out, bewildered, and found himself possessed of a Shark Tooth Crown.

From there, his ability to choose his path fell onto the card flop of they who were interested in him. The world was his oyster.

Nanaue is a a minor Hulk; because of his extreme biology he can move an immense amount of weight and swing his fists for a lot of damage. The terrifying amalgamation of man and Shark God could tear apart weapons, armor, and bone. His primary adversaries are all superhumans, and he proves a worthy opponent for them. He can hurl a boulder with the best of 'em, crunch down on an arm and tear it right off of a powerful foe, and is overall incredibly strong. He can drag a heavy object for miles, as well, due to his immense strength and endurance.

Having all that mass, though? It comes with a cost. Though he can move incredibly quickly proportionally to his bulk, he's not a proprietary neophyte in terms of speed. While he's well above the average human in terms of reaction speed, Nanaue is left wanting in depth when it comes to the average super human's speed.

What he lacks in reaction speed, however, Nanaue makes up for in thick hide. His shark like biology affords him a damage protection that makes him enduring to the average attack and then some.

Being as strong as he is, King Shark is also capable of incredible acts of super jumping. Is there anything more terrifying than a shark that, if you saw him at ground level from a skyscraper, could leap up and bite the shit out of you?

Because of jhim, and there is a lot about him to be aware of, his endurance is a factor of his persona that one might be wary of. He can pursue, attack, and become relentless in his fixations in a way that is quite alarming. He's able to continue on in his endeavor long after the average being might forego their efforts.

...and he's possessed of gills. His gills afford him the ability to breathe in water. It isn't much, but, an aquatic life is a different life than the life on solid ground, and Nanaue is used to it. He can float, swim, and breathe water the same way another might breathe air.

The last thing, and possibly the most terrifying about him is the way he can smell biology. He can sense the presence of another with his snout by picking up on blood, scent glands, sweat glands, and general molecular biology. Something about the way he does it transcends even his understanding - for a lengthy distance the Shark Demigod can pick up on the most minute pieces of a bio-field and internalize it into his predatory instinct. It's hard to conceal one's self from the thing that he is.

Hello there!

All of the math here looks sound, however I need to observe that tying all of your 'biological traits' such as defense, agility, super jumping, etc. to a Damage effect sort of plays weird havoc with the system. For example, if someone has an ability that shuts down Nanue's ability to attack, it would technically also shut down every thing else he has going on, with the current breakdown.

I think it might be beneficial to separate Apex Predator into a few catagories such as 'Claws and Jaws', 'Apex Physique', and 'Hunter's Senses', for example.

Took me a bit, got a little busy for a week! Here's the broken up abilities:

Super Strength

Using his immense natural strength, Nanaue is able to lift incredible amounts of weight and cause unfettered quantities of damage. His methods of attack include physical melee, and the incredible crushing strength of his big ol’ shark jaws. With his incredible feats of strength he is able to lift and throw boulders and other heavy loads. He can tear through obstacles that would stop a lesser force of nature.

Though he’s faster than the average human, Nanaue’s bulk comes at a price. He isn’t as quick as some of the superhumans he has come up against; he is, however, incredibly endurant. An immense reservoir of energy can keep him going long after others reach their breaking points, it is in his nature to persevere and outlast opponents through sheer tenacity rather than avoidance.

King Shark is incredibly sturdy. He wears no conventional armor, but his thick hide is capable of absorbing a boatload of damage. It dulls attacks that might break the skin of one with a more conventional biology. Because he is not as quick as others, he makes up for his shortcomings through a tankier juggernaut approach.

Nanaue’s immense strength affords him the luxury of incredible jumping prowess. While he isn’t quite capable of leaping tall buildings in a single bound, he is capable of some pretty impressive vaults. His approach is like that of a catapult - coil, spring, and hope for the best on the landing.

Though he can breathe through his nose, Nanaue can breathe through a set of gills located on either side of his head and neck; they afford him the ability to breathe underwater.

The other thing about his incredible sniffer is what it can show the King of Sharks that the other senses might not pick up. He can sniff out others from a significant distance, even zeroing in on their bio-electric fields as a method of pinpointing the presence of others. Familiar scents and unfamiliar ones make themselves known to him through more conventional means, and he can pick up blood in the air in a way that’s uncanny.
