Greyson Tend has had a rough life. Even between seafarers on Opeleon he is the low of the low. He has been sold to multiple pirates and hunting ships that he can no longer name them all. Some have been alright, they treat him with pity or even niceness but most saw him only as an end to a means. Greyson has learned to live through the toughest of times, having been almost killed by sea monsters and people alike, but for all this he looks forward and knows that there is a better place out there for him. He uplifts most of those around him in the same predicament and gives them hope when he can.
Physical Description:
Greyson looks like a normal human when seen from afar, but when you get closer you can see his adapted features which separates him from most of Opeleon. He is roughly 5' 11" and 190 lbs. with lightly tanned skin, both his hair and eyes are dark brown. Traditionally he wears light seafaring clothes as well as a tooth necklace that carries different teeth from sea creatures. As you get closer you would be able to see the many scars that he has across his body, some from monsters and others from weapons. Almost every inch carries some kind of scar. Getting a few feet away you can see his gills that adorn his neck. From a distance you could mistake them for scars but getting close you can see them slightly move as Greyson breathes. You can also see when inspecting his skin that he has a scaly hide that covers his entirety of his body, thick and rough when touched. Underwater Greyson is more fish than man. Before going in he strips his shoes and gloves showing his webbed feet and hands. in the water his scars disappear and his skin turns from a rough surface to perfectly smooth scale like skin.
Character History:
From a child Greyson has been seen as some sort of freak. Being left in an alleyway in Kirden Wharf because of his strange adaptations he was later found and brought up by a barmaid that worked nearby. Unfortunately the owner soon lost interest in the barmaid and decided to sell her as well as a 6 year old Greyson for the extra coin. This began Greyson's history of different pirates and shippers buying and selling him, some treating him as trash and others only slightly better. Even for the horrible conditions he believed that there was something better for himself and stayed strong. As a child he thought that he could escape his owners, who eventually caught on to his plans and would punish Greyson accordingly. After a few times of trying he learned that it was easier to keep low rather than escape hoping that one day he would be free. As he traveled from one to the other he would pick up skills, such as rope tieing or the proper way of skinning a sea creature. After 15 years of this Greyson ended up on a major shipping community. Here he is treated better then many of the previous owners had and while he appreciates it, he still looks to the future of him being free and owning his own ship, bringing on those like himself to make a better life for all.

One of Greyson's unique adaptations is gills that lie on his neck. They don't provide any significance above water but allow him to breath normally under it.
Adapted - Incredible cold environments (100)Greyson's skin insulates him for being able to dive to depths that would normally freeze unsuited people. This allows him to travel farther and gather things that normally wouldn't be available without special equipment.
Damage 3 (300)
Greyson has learned throughout his life how to properly fight with his fists but also with weapons. He prefers to use harpoons and hand knives but isn't afraid of hand to hand combat.
Endurance 5 (500)Greyson is unsure if this is an adaptation or if it has been conditioned into him. He can go through extreme amounts of pain and can go for hours if not days of rigorous physical exertion. This allows him to survive better when in the oceans but has benefited him whenever he would receive punishment from his owners.
Protection 3- Natural hardened skin/ scales (300)-Ongoing (Free)
His skin is rough like leather and protects from most light attacks as well as providing protection from smaller sea creatures. When in water the skin slightly changes as it hydrates showing that it resembles fish scales versus a thick hide.
Sense 1- Echo- location(200)-Ongoing (Free)
A very unique skill that Greyson has trained is echo- location. As a child it was very innate when he was in the water. It helped him track as well as tell him where and how far predatory creatures where. Over the years he trained it for use above water and uses it quite often as it gives him more information than his normal sight.

Greyson's fins provide faster than normal swimming speed. He can keep up with most fish and this allows him to escape larger creatures if need be.
Move Object 3 (300)Greyson has extreme ease in moving heavy and large objects. This also allows him to move underwater while pulling large creatures or objects much easier than he would otherwise
