The Orbital station Bobinator and Kyle Rees expected to hit turned out much differently than expected. The two brothers Gizmo and Gear went ahead of them and hit heavy resistance from what they heard in their comms. “Gizmo! Gear, I’m hearing horrible sounds, what the Hell is THAT?!”
A loud Screeeeeee and screaming were heard through the comms.
In another life, Kyle Reese would know precisely what he was going into fighting as Col. Hicks in the Colonel Marines yet here he was in a different life as a soldier that fought the unmade AND terminators, not these whatever-the-hell they are.”
The soldier already had gone through so much as the Bobinator alerted Kyle precisely what they were heading into.
“According to my sources, Kyle, this is a Xenomorph. Mixed alien breeds and squirts acid. We’ll have to watch our step out here.”
Kyle was overcautious now as he was stepping into unfamiliar territory yet again.
In the far depths, The Bobinator makes his move into the station, silently taking one cautious step at a time trying to take as many steps as he could without attracting any more attention to the soldier/terminator duo. His red terminator eyes scan out the territory, noting the many xenomorphs around the area as “threats”. At least the Terminator’s scanner was able to read off said threats and see them before they came.
The Bobinator made himself invisible from view and held fast to its Endo plasma rifle as a few steps turned into all-out war as the T-800 quickly heard noises around the space station and noted the Clockwork Colossus in distress. The giant terminator yelled out to the other and the terminator quietly reminded Kyle that he had to sneak his way past the Xenomorphs without causing more disturbance.
As a Xenomorph skittered through the station one by one, much like semi-intelligent aliens, they made sure to give both the terminator and the Colussus hell through a collective hive-mind-like attitude as they looked to stare at both. An endo blast to an effective weak point of a Xenomorph could work but carefully.
They were scarily fast and agile and them being unmade was already pure chaos.
The Terminator would have to go the stealth route.
As the other manned robot tried to physically attack the beings, The invisible terminator’s eyes shone through the dark through its invisible sunglasses.
The Marine-like soldiers near the Bobinator and the Clockwork Colossus managed to hold off some Xenomorphs with flamethrowers, and it gave the two giant robots time to advance toward the next part of the ship, rinse, and repeat. The Bobinator was silent and waved a hand toward Giz and Gear to keep moving toward the Xenomorph Alien Queen egg or whatever the hell that was ahead.
The Bobinator let the soldiers off in front letting them ward other alien creatures off with grenades or laying sentry fire or cover fire so that the two robots could do their thing. Almost felt like a real aliens' movie crossover, right?”
For a bit, the orbital station was covered by what seemed like small Xenos. The goo was just as dangerous as the actual Xenomorphs themselves. The Bobinator shot several small Xenos, screeching and more occurred when the beasts were blown to bits across the barren former orbiting station.
“Bobinator, Colossus, Status!”
“We are busy!”
“What do you mean you- AHHHH!”
Kyle growled “Answer!”
Bobinator kept shooting down Xenos of different sizes trying not to get them in the face and at least acid onto another alien creature as well.
Those soldiers who didn’t join them were trying to shoot as much as they could at the approaching aliens with long freaky tongues but as the Xeno size grew, the battle became tougher.
Bobinator barely almost got hit with a Xeno but threw it at another xeno with its acid spitting around another one.
The station was crawling with unmade gunk and there was no telling how long they were able to hold off this infestation. Bobinator nodded as close as he could to Clockwork and told him to keep moving. They had to keep moving toward the Xenomorph Queen with few problems. But this battle was harder than Kyle once imagined.
Xenos chomped through a solider as they screamed and Kyle had to force a wince before continuing where some of the soldiers saluted with “Ooohrah, with dust!”
Bobinator growled when acid almost hit him again as a sizzle of something was heard but not sure where it came from.
Maybe a distraction could work. But what?
The Bobinator was hoping to crush these monsters with every tool at their disposal but so far that wasn’t working great. Soldiers held flamethrowers on the bigger Xenos making them screech and backtrack as a few finally started to retreat. So far the queen hadn’t shown herself to the two giant robots and the more time they spent annoying the Xenos, the more aggregated they would become.
Bobinator took a light breath as the threats near Colossus were slowing down meaning they could pull back for now until they found a safer space to take on in the space station.
He bit his tongue as he felt like he was running, trying to get Colussus to follow him for now until they could regroup in a safer space in the station.
Corpses of dead Xenomorphs laid there with acid blood around them, making Bobinator dodge the area around him until it was safe.
Ater the area was finally safe to breath for a few seconds, Bobinator looked back “The battle is still going, guys. Kyle frowned “I know, Bobinator, we have to regroup and take a breath really quick before we rush into things like that again.”
Bobinator frowned “Where do you think is the Xeno Queen in this hive, Kyle?”
The ex-Sgt worried for a second and paced in the window box.
What was even more horrifying is that the same soldier before they left got attacked by a face-hugger and had it burst out of the chest cavity screeching before the creature was put down.
