Character Behavior:
The "Grizzled Soldier"
"A career soldier with a soft spot for sarcasm and occasional bouts of melancholy, PJ is capable of killing just about anyone with anything she can get her hands on. A lifetime of war, soldiers dying in her care, and the misogyny of military life have given this occasionally sullen woman a variety of layers."
Character History:
PJ is a soldier from another world who was pulled into the Crossroads when her troop convoy went off course and wound up crashing onto Inverxe. One by one, the other members of her company were murdered by the various monsters that inhabit the frosty eldritch hellscape. Over time, PJ encounter other survivors and wayward souls on Inverxe, and to survive, there was little she wouldn't do. Scavenging dead and likely robbing the dying, she nearly became just another ghoul haunting that World until a choice encounter with King Gilgamesh and his own ragtag group of 'followers'.
Standoffish and initially unwilling to put herself at too much risk for these strangers, PJ and the king eventually developed something akin to a wartime bond as they cooperated to defeat various monsters and aliens until eventual, Gilgamesh made a gambit with Syntech to get them lifted from the world and transported to Mesa Roja, where PJ helped oversee construction of Uruk and eventually was assigned to an embassy position in Karim.
