Kelly, dude. Where do I even start? You're like at the peak level of writing that I want to achieve one day. It was so crazy to me when you first joined the old site, because I was like, a Godzilla villain? What? Why is he writing such a crazy outlandish concept that would be so difficult to achieve—OH SHIT, HE'S DOING IT! HE'S REALLY DOING IT!!!

Anyway. Your writing has always been so goddamn incredible, from your ability to craft a scene to how deeply entrenched your character's personalities/psyche are in your writing style. I can start reading a post and I know it's Ghidorah because your writing voice for him is so distinct.

Not to mention your Rory stuff. That was hilarious, it's such a treat that you're able to write serious, cosmically horrifying stuff and then immediately jump to silly penguin committing fraud. And sometimes you combine that energy. Jesus.

I also really appreciate you inviting me to watch Godzilla movies with you, and super loved hearing all your knowledge/fun facts on it during. Whenever Godzilla comes up in my everyday conversations (it's more common than one might think!), I always go "Well, I'm friends with this guy and he's a Godzilla lore expert and he said..."

Keep on being you, dude. I'm beyond excited to read your future threads.

Your writing never fails to bring a smile to my face, and I always love keeping up with your latest adventures and projects, because they're so clever and just exploding with personality. Your uniquely witty and heartfelt threads have a way of making the world we've built here come alive, and I am constantly dumbfounded by your ability to weave compelling, streamlined stories with such disparate characters.

Your musical talent, too, is always a joy to see. Maybe one day you can write a theme song for us and I'll commission a new Crossroads cinematic to go along with it.

When I first heard from you, it was through Spot, who was telling us all about how you were reading our posts and what you thought of them. It was always so uplifting and genuinely cool to hear your opinions on our stuff. And let me tell you, your commentary and support were so dear to me! There were times when writing felt like an uphill battle just due to stress and life factors, but knowing that someone like you appreciated the work we'd put into telling our characters' stories gave me the juice to keep going.

I was also very honored that Haven was your first foray into participating in big events on the site. Some of the things we did to poor Molly really involved a lot of trust, haha, so I'm glad you had a good time. And I'm even MORE glad to be a friend of yours now, considering you're such a spectacular person and writer!

I have always been in awe of your writing and was overjoyed when you returned to the site. I had the chance to write with you AT LONG LAST! Your Okor posts were always so masterful to me, and your work as Rhodri was sooo immersive. But let me tell you, I was completely blindsided by how brilliantly you crafted the character of Don Isaac.

Your characters had always been so serious and kinda glum, so it was surprising to see this bold, colorful character join your repertoire!

Honestly, I didn't know much about him or his origins at first, but you brought him to life with such depth, energy and authenticity. And our character interactions in Dante's Abyss took wildly unexpected turns that left me reeling (in a good way), all thanks to you (and Spot). Your writing forced me to confront difficult, dialogue-heavy scenes and make tough decisions for my character, forcing him to face his own flaws and mistakes, past and present.

But it all came together beautifully because of your skill! Thank you for pushing me to be a better writer and for creating such an amazing story with me. We should do that again some time!
