Ben is a Philanthropical Bulwark
From his understanding of the force, and his further training under Qui-Gon Jinn to respond to the living force, Obi-wan is often willing to help those in need. He follows the dictates of the light side, and looks in every situation not merely to his own safety, but to those of his peers. While he carries the burdens of his own past, and those occasionally surface underneath the visage of the kind master, he never allows those pains to take priority over the struggles of those in the present, working as a servant of the force, and seeing his power as given only to help those around him. He seeks always to help others, not just with outward struggles, but the struggles to find happiness within, as well.
In combat, Ben espouses the values of his fallen order in combat, taking a very defensive approach. he is clever in his tactics and ridiculously patient, willing to wait an entire battle for that single, perfect opening to appear, and taking it in order to end the battle. His combat style values the energy of it's user, and Ben often defeats his opponents simply by outwaiting them until they can no longer fend off his inevitable counter-attack.
Physical Description:
Ben is a middle-aged man, not quite as old as he might otherwise be, but not as young as he otherwise might be as a man in his early 50's. with his hair being an unruly mess of gold and brown, sporting a wonderfully taken care of beard and a powerful build, he might be mistaken for a particularly kind and cuddly bear.
A human of roughly 5'8, he tends to wear vestments of brown and light tan, with a large brown cloak he favors for travelling, and wears dark leather boots as part of his look. He wears a thick leather belt that holds his weapon of choice and often sports a disarming smile.
Tragically, Ben is from a very obscure source, so no good pictures of him really exist on the internet.
Character History:
Ben was born on the planet of Stewjon, before being recruited into his order as a young child. From a very modest age, Kenobi possessed a certain mystical power to manipulate a "force", of mystical energy. He was eventually taken in by a knight of his order - a Master Jinn - and made his apprentice - or "padawan" as it was known within this order. He went on many missions of peacekeeping and mediation with this Master Jinn, as well as relief efforts and other works of purity within the galaxy - for his order felt it was their duty to help those in need with their powers, to build peace and prosperity as a whole.
After a fight with a dark warrior known as Maul, his Master died, leaving him to train one he believed would bring Balance to their galaxy, and leaving him to become a Jedi Knight. Ben spent many years after this in mission after mission, before eventually meeting his master's old master on a perilous investigation. He found that, after turning his back on the order, this former knight had become a count, and moreover, the leader of a war effort, leading a political movement that sought to topple the old government in a great war.
Through it all, he sought to train his apprentice, Annie the Chosen one, and raise him to be a knight, but the war took it's toll on Annie's psyche - as did his forbidden relationship, for he had chosen to wed a young politician despite the order's strict policy on such things - and as the war turned out to be an elaborate lie, a farce constructed by his old rival Maul's master, Ben found his world turned upside down as his knightly order was implicated as the ultimate culprits, and his apprentice turned to evil, finding a new insidious master.
On a planet of magma and death, they had their ultimate duel, and he left his apprentice to die that day - but in loyalty, he still made sure that his children were safe and lived peaceful lives, living for some time as a desert hermit. until one fateful day, the force lead him from his hermitage, and into the crossroads.

the Order taught Ben much, but being the Apprentice of Qui-gon Jinn tends to force you into many rough-and-tumble situations, as you're taught a book of tactics that resemble the ravings of a drunken madman that also happen to have a near 100 percent success rate. Ben learned much from his master in both his master's acrobatic swordstyle, Ataru, which focuses on overpowering an opponent with feats of athleticism and unpredictable attacks from every angle - and the foundation he would hone for Soresu, a defensive style that allows someone to finely control the fight with a nearly unbreakable wall of defense. both are applicable with most bladed weapons but are most valuable with the weapon of choice of the order - a light saber.
Further, Ben was more or less forced into athletic feats that made him understand how to jump, twirl, spin and flip with all the understanding of a trained athlete in any of these - as he was forced to do them in one life-threatening situation after another.
Jinn also made sure Ben knew the basics of both how to use advanced technology that might be around the galaxy and how to quickly learn how to use unfamiliar technology, in case a newly found device might prove the key to holding onto an advantage.

General Kenobi was thrust into a three-year long war soon after a harrowing adventure, given control of a portion of the grand army of the republic with zero prior training, and forced to wing it in the first real intergalactic war in a cool millenia. luckily, he seemed to ease into it with an ease others could only envy. While the truly insane and unconventional tactics were often left to Anakin, Kenobi was capable of blending much of what he knew into unorthodox, but capable maneuvers, a side-effect of his training under Qui-gon Jinn. where his actual speedily earned knowledge did not always serve, the force would always serve to assist him.

Ben earned a position as "the negotiator" in the Clone Wars, due to his skill with words and his understanding of both negotiation and the underlying forces needed to make a position. While Ben would never do such a thing to an unsuspecting civilian, he is fully capable of selling you a bunch of rocks for a million dollars if it is needed. He is fantastic at giving speeches, communicating, easily making friends, and convincing others of his genuine intent.
This has also been weaponized, particularly against sith lords, with his tongue able to push people to lose their mental focus, allowing him to push even experienced masters of the force like his former apprentice into a predictable attack - and thus, giving Ben control of the battle. He is skilled at investigating into just what is important in a situation, just what may or may not make someone tick, and then utilizing those advantages to turn an unwinnable fight or negotiation into a turn-around victory.
And of course, working for a giant intergalactic government for a good few decades, and then a grand army for a few years, has taught him much about how money and goods flow, where they might be directed, and how they might be better directed for the good of those around him.
