Triangle-Point Beach (Scene - Completed!)

Up ahead, the little triangle of land would prove to be the proper staging ground that the fleet would need to seize the island.

The oversized Terminator sat silently on the bow of the squadrons lone carrier.

Enemy NPC Characters: Pretty tame by your prior standards, I know, but you’ll face only mooks.

The dawn in its brilliant waking colors of painted sky shone over the landscapes of the cruiser and its lone Bond. Kyle felt the light injury as much as the Bobinator did and he wrapped something around the injury and command point 2 before he had the soldiers head out

A syntech branded soldier volunteering for the cause sounded like someone coming directly out of the Resistance from his sons orders.

“Major Perry?!”

A conversation sounded right from the comms unit in the bobinator.

“Wait, Sgt!”

Kyle immediately saluted his higher up and blinked. He signed up for this mission?!

There was no time for a reunion as monstrous unmade yearned for a taste of corruption in someone else’s body.”

The Major was just as serious as he was as both pushed ahead their respective vessels.

“Soldiers, let’s take the fight to the unmade while the sun is still rising!” Soldiers from below yelled and took on their positions with Major Perry.

“Send my words to General Connor, sir!”

It’s when the other Major led the soldiers on the ground.

The fight was intense, soldier and unmade fight each other as Bobinator’s red terminator eyes lie hidden between the sunglasses and the reflection of the rising sunlight.

The Bobinatior flew toward the other fleet and they helped him out from sea. Whatever the giant terminator didn’t hit, they cleared for him.

“Kyle!” Incoming!”

The terminator shot the creature point blank with little concern for the foe.

You have taken the beach, and you have the option to push forward. The rest of the island is covered in a dense fog, so you're not quite sure what you might be going into, but it doesn't seem great.

Update:

As Bobinator marched into the fog, the Terminator's sensors indicated that something was ... off.

Breaching a portion of the fog, Kyle Reese stumbled forward and fell to his knees, scraping them slightly as confused soldiers started to stumble around him.

"What the hell?"

Others had similar turns of phrase as everyone's focus moved to what lay in front of them. There was what seemed to be a small city, and at its epicenter, a lighthouse of some sort that emitted a weak light. If not for the hordes of zombies, it was quite possible that the scene would have been less unsettling.

"That's our target, right?" Someone muttered to Reece after helping him to his feet. "That's usually how this wacko shit works, huh?"

Kyle nodded his head as he was handed a gun by one of the other soldiers. "Let's go."

Notes: You've been separated from your Bond by unknown reasons, rendering you simply Kyle Reese with access to only a gun and your guts. It's you and a group of about fifty soldiers who must traverse a city that is filled with zombies (and other monsters, as you deem fit). Expect to take causalities, but remember that you'll need to safeguard enough of them to help you take the Lighthouse.

Enemy NPC Characters: Zombies and a handful of other baddies, as you deem fit. This won't be pleasant.

[Gizmo Gear]

As lights burn through the fog and stomping is heard from outside. Instead walks out are two cartoonish anthropomorphic animals a black and white cat and a black and white dog. As both look around confused. As they were supposed to be riding in the safety of a giant robot. Only to see a bunch of zombies without one.

Gizmo and Gadget tried to turn around and walk back the way they came to get CC. Only for them to come back into the area they just came in. As Gizmo is trying to figure out how exactly they went straight and back there again. It now dawns on him that they are in not a good situation.

"Okay this is...is going to be a problem," Gizmo said.

"For once we agree," Gadget said.

As the soldiers that came with them come through the fog Gizmo then sees Kyle Reese and his group. Gizmo thinks he looks cool so he runs over to him. Gadget reluctantly follow.

"Hi I'm Gizmo and this is my brother Gadget. By any chance do you know what happened to our giant robot?" Gizmo asked.

Only for the groaning zombies to come close. Luckily they were neither living nor dead so Gizmo and Gadget didn't have any qualms about them dying...that is if they had anything lethal to use. Gizmo panicking gets out his Platform Gun. And shoots out a spring platform. As a zombie climbs on top of it is launched into the air before landing on the ground with a splat as its decomposed body becomes a stain on the ground. That was a happy accident, though this gives Gizmo an idea. He then shoots out more platforms but this time floating ones that float a foot off the ground.

The platforms then form a sort of wall that the encroaching zombies try to climb over slowing them down. The soldiers that came with Gizmo and Gadget took this opportunity to begin unloading their artillery at the zombies. Blasting them apart with bullets and aiming for their heads. Gadget winces and covers his eyes with his ears to not look away. And Gizmo begins to grimace as well witnessing the brutality of this up close.

Gadget peeks out and notices the abandoned village. That there were once people here and these zombies are what's left of them. And looking up at the lighthouse sent a chill down his spine. Was it the source of the fog and the weirdness surrounding it? Or was it supposed to make it go away before it's light-dimmed.

"This place was once a home to them and now they're all mindless walking corpses. It doesn't just scare me it also makes me sad," Gadget said.

"Yeah and it's all this Darkseid guy's fault, and from the looks of it, he makes Lord X look tame by comparison. One day we're going to deck that guy right in his face. After we foil his plans of making the rest of this planet like this." Gizmo said.

Gadget nodded in agreement. Even if is not sure if they ever will be able to do that. Though he is definitely starting to miss Nos'talgia. Except maybe Uncanny Valley cause it's just as if not creepier then this place.

Kyle Reese slowly blinked, eying the area close him. Perry had helped him up off the ground and nodded. “You alright, soldier?” Kyle nodded, a gun in his hand, feeling like he was doing the Annihilation Line duty again. Personally he wasn’t sure of the two.

The chrastimatic soldier eyed Gizmo and Gadget and frowned “If this is anything like a normal mission Connor trained us against Terminators or the unmade, this will be a rough mission. “Our bonds? I can’t say what happened to our bonds but the only way of getting them back is to get our target back in our possession, that lighthouse.

Major Perry stares over at Kyle and then at the two brothers. “What if we encounter a terminator or two?”

Kyle frowned “We wiped the upmade terminators and anything else that looks like a zombie!”

After playing second fiddle to Commander Don Isaac and even to his son, it felt more comfortable to give orders than getting them.

Perry’s mouth had to fall open after seeing gizmo and gadget’s platform gun. “What the hell kind of war are we fighting here?”

Kyle sighed “this happens every day, major.”

Perry growls “This shit is common?!”

Kyle took a breath. This take back of the lighthouse would be rough.

“UNMADE!”

Not to be outdone by the brothers, Kyle cursed and muttered under his breath at least he had a plasma rifle. He looked over at Perry and nodded.

The soldiers got in front of Gizmo and Gear along with Kyle and Perry.

“Ambush!” Kyle yelled what Connor constantly used in combat which were hit and run.
Kyle held tight to his plasma rifle and Perry followed him, some of the soliders priming for hit and run tatics.

The city in the fog looked like white pea soup covering the problems at hand.

The zombie attacks were easier than expected because of the plasma rifle Kyle had in his hand. A quick stealth and run position toward these zombies had Kyle making minced meat out of the unmade zombies with one or two shots.

Perry had the same idea, clearing out some of the unmade zombie hordes one by one as they exploded by headshots.

The moon in the distinct gave a stark contrast to what the setting was. However the screech of a red eyed terminator was all Kyle and Perry needed to throw their mood into a tizzy.

An unmade terminator to be precise. It was terrifying.

Kyle had just brought time to yell “terminator”
To have Perry shoot the weak spot and let it fall down.

Skynet wasn’t anywhere to be found here.

 

[Gizmo Gear]

"Well this isn't normal for us either, we haven't really met any humans besides you guys on account that intergalactic laws forbid underdeveloped worlds being tampered with, with a few exceptions," Gizmo said.

"Your culture has inspired a lot of different cultures around our universe, however!" Gadget added.

"Yeah, we wouldn't have figured out things like how to make cheese or home media entertainment without you guys," Gizmo said.

As Gizmo saw the unmade Terminator fall, he had a devious idea. As he whispered to Gadget, who thought he was crazy, but admitted it could work. As Gizmo slunk across the ground under the ground as he pulled the Terminator's body over to where Gadget is. As Gadget begins tinkering with its head with a bit of Gizmo's help to reprogram it, before giving it a bit of a jumpstart by using energy from the Platform Gun's battery to bring it back up. As the Terminator gets online again it starts to see the zombies as its new targets. As it starts unloading its gun on the Unmade Zombies before slowly marching forth toward the horde.

As the soldiers looked in awe in witness to what those two teenagers just did Gizmo smugly looked at them dusting his fist on his vest before saying "You're welcome."

Then Gizmo looks at the rooftops of the building and sees a safer path through the zombies.

"So uh Mr. Army Human Man sir, I didn't really catch your name but you are definitely better at leading soldiers than I am, you take the crew that came with me, while me and Gadget get up to the rooftops and take a safer path to the lighthouse from above. While our newly turned robot friend helps clears a path for you all," Gizmo said.

As Gadget says "Wait what?" he is pulled to a ladder on the side of a dilapidated house as the two begin carefully scaling and jumping across the rooftops of each building. Sometimes Gizmo has to make a platform for Gadget for him to be able to come across. Yet this sort of thing is something they are used to and adjusted to. As they begin to make their trek toward the lighthouse. Unfortunately, zombies were crawling up on the rooftops. Luckily with one swing of his wrench, Gadget was able to knock all of the zombies off as they crashed into the ground before they continued on.

The sooner they could get there the sooner they could end this madness.

Kyle’s face turned to one of annoyance at the cat and his sidekick at the fact that they were going to separate until Gizmo grabbed ahold of the unmade terminator and hacked it, making the soldiers flabbergasted including Perry himself.

Therefore the soldiers in the group’s job became that much easier. Kyle wasted no time questioning it as it was on shooting zombies. The path cleared and left bits of guts on the ground.

The terminator continued It’s onslaught of zombies as Perry and Kyle were a hint nervous looking over at Gizmo and Gear as they pushed their way through up a platform.

The onslaught of unmade were rendered mostly cleared, leaving Kyle and Perry and the other soldiers with cleanup duty.

Perry gripped Kyle’s shoulders “Don’t worry about those two. “

Kyle muttered and began to take on cleanup duty as the terminator took out horde after horde of unmade zombie mess.

The soldiers followed suit and cleaned up the one or two zombies missed by the terminator reprogrammed by the two.

From there on out, it felt like a rinse and repair job.

The soldiers pulled ahead with all the gunpowder that could muster, some screaming but managed to put down the creatures.

Kyle watched as soldiers stood and fell, pushing forward.

 

[Gizmo Gear]

Gizmo stopped to look at the handiwork that the reprogrammed Terminator was doing to the zombies. It was an impressive feat even for a robot that wasn't as limber or flexible as the robots from back home.

"How did you manage to reprogram that thing Gadget?" Gizmo asked.

"Well, its AI was very rudimentary compared to robots from back in our universe. First of all, it didn't seem to have any free will and second, it didn't have a built-in backup system for it to send its data to a new body in case of catastrophic failure. Still very impressive albeit a bit analog." Gadget said.

Gizmo then looked at the Terminator. So if it is made irreparable it won't be able to come back just like most people do. As he's thinking on this he begins to hear strange wings flapping. As he looks at the local church, he sees that one of the weird statues is missing. Then a screech is heard overhead as a gargoyle swoops down at them. They jump out of the way as the gargoyle's foot is stuck inside the roof.

Gadget whacks it with his wrench which cracks the face but only seems to have made it angrier. As it takes its arms out it begins to crawl on all fours towards the dog. Before it feels an impact from behind. As it sees Gizmo with his Platform Gun.

"Try picking on something your own size, and preferably also made of stone!" he shouted.

He then begins unloading platforms at the creature. Each platform breaks on contact and cracks apart the gargoyle with each hit. With the gargoyle distracted, Gadget swings its wrench at its wings as the creature roars in pain. Its wings fall off the roof and apart onto the floor. Gadget then runs over to where Gizmo is before Gizmo puts a spring platform in front of them.

The gargoyle runs toward them but is catapulted with the spring platform. With no wings to fly with it screeches through the air before it crashes down into the ground and becomes nothing more than rubble. The brothers sigh for relief as Gizmo begins collecting the scrap from the platforms for ammunition. Hopefully, that means no more surprises. Though with their luck there's bound to be one at the lighthouse.

Kyle blinked, he gritted his teeth as a few soldiers kept being determined and stubborn kept pulling through. Many made it through pure strength and determination. The soldiers finally pulled through the skyscraper laden city, ducking behind abandoned cars, while the reprogrammed terminator pushed through the hordes of zombies, “Kyle, can we trust that… terminator ? It’s… “

Kyle didn’t answer right away as he moved forward with each shot from the plasma rifle blowing creatures apart.

“”Forward, Forward!”

He waved soldiers forward.

Operation: Secure the Lighthouse was close to finishing. Kyle was silent as several soldiers watched the area checking every crevice for any other zombies.

The lighthouse barely shone and Kyle blinked “What's making these zombies go crazy?!”

Perry muttered “Guess we’ll find out.”

Gizmo and Gadget were nearby and looked up “How much longer do we wait?”

Kyle and his soldiers moved toward a beach area sighing.

“Be on guard.”

Update:
You will shortly arrive at the Lighthouse, where you'll be confronted by the 'boss' of this Scene, a T-00

[Gizmo Gear]

Gizmo and Gadget were the first to arrive at the lighthouse. As they looked around they didn't spot anything out of the ordinary at first. And look up at the dim light.

"If we fix that light it should cut through the fog and we can get out of here," Gizmo said.

"Easier said than done, there might be still zombies or worse," Gadget said.

And then a strange figure was seen on top of the lighthouse before it jumped onto the ground, causing an impact crater where it landed. A large grey-skinned gentleman with a black leather coat and a black fedora. It cracks its neck and cracks its knuckles before ominously moving toward the to slowly. Gizmo responded by firing a platform at it, though it didn't phase the creature in the slightest as it kept walking forward. Gizmo tried to hit him in his head and his head reeled back and his fedora was knocked off.

Suddenly it started to go toward them even faster before it grabs Gizmo by the next and tries to choke him. Gizmo keeps punching him in the face in vain by the Tyrant is completely immune to his strikes. Gadget then whacks him with his wrench to get its attention. T-00 then tosses Gizmo aside before looming over Gadget and about to grab him. Before it starts to get from behind as it turns to see the reprogrammed Terminator firing bullets at it. The Tyrant then changes target to the larger threat as it begins to walk toward the Terminator.

As the bullets continue to do nothing against its tough leather clothes the Terminator realizes it is out of ammo. It throws away its gun in frustration the Tyrant then changes direction back to the Gear Brothers. The Terminator looks at the two before it gives them a thumbs up. It then grabs the Tyrant in a full nelson. As it struggles to try to get the robot off as it's unable to reach behind its back and tries shaking it off.

"F*** you, asshole," the Terminator says.

As a loud beeping sound is emitted from the Terminator before it blows up and engulfs the Tyrant in the ensuing explosion. All that's left of the Terminator is its metallic skull-like head. Gizmo and Gadget couldn't believe what they had done to save them. Especially since they didn't program him to do something like that. But before they could grab the head as a memento a large foot crushed it. The Tyrant walked out of the fiery inferno and without its clothes now a malformed monstrosity. Its left arm is a horrific spiked bloody mess, its face partially blown away, and its large heart is exposed pulsating on its chest.

This was enough to let Gizmo and Gadget know that not only that this horrific abomination that's unnatural, but it was even more dangerous than it was before. Gizmo saw the heart however and began unloading the rest of the Platform Gun ammo right to it. The Tyrant kept reeling back as pieces of the platforms embedded into its heart and veins causing profuse bleeding. Until eventually Gizmo runs out of ammo and he and Gadget back away as the Super Tyrant begins to get back up. Their only hope now is that the other soldiers can arrive to save them before the tyrant reaches them.

Gizmo and Gadget felt like cornered rats, out of ammo, and the reprogrammed terminator on the ground had exploded to save the two . It all seemed hopeless until the fog of war cleared and plasma fire peppered the beast. The maddened beast seemed proud of itself for smashing what was left of one of the terminator.

Kyle growled, annoyed “No!”

Gizmo and Gadget had to save what was left of the mechanical menace on the ground. Kyle yelled “Go for the heart! It’s a weak spot!”

The soldiers aimed at the super tyrant’s heart piling on plasma fire with bullets, trying their very best to “light up” the T-00.

Kyle growled, there were a few barrels of gas, convently placed of course . Wonder if this guy goes down like a terminator.

He kicked the cans near the T-00 shooting it letting the gas light up the man. He had the soldiers lead the tyrant down to some liquid nitrogen and hit the pipe, hoping to make the freezing liquid touch the T-00 watching the liquid hit the creature freezing its feet, then legs and it expands through its body . Once it looks frozen enough, hopefully the creature will break into frozen pieces after shooting it point blank with the plasma rifle.

Kyle took a breath almost in a sigh of relief but he felt another pain in his body. It didn’t hurt much so far but it was there. As the monster froze in place from the liquid nitrogen, Kyle shot the creature into pieces and the remaining soldiers took a sigh of relief even though they knew it was temporary.

The Tech-com Sargeant nodded and shook Major Perry’s hand, it was nice seeing you again, keeping fighting the good fight! After perry left with the others, Kyle turned to the brotherly duo. “Thank you for getting that terminator reprogrammed. It was very helpful in the battle. If I tell my son, perhaps I can get you two positions in the Resistance as a terminator reprogrammer.

“Good luck out there you two.”

Before Kyle left and the fog cleared, the lighthouse light finally shone and said “My name is Kyle.”

Kyle moved toward the Bobinator and it pulled him back into his bond. Oddly enough he stared back at the giant T-800, it seemed cold and machine like but in reality the tin man was holding in any signs of injury.

The terminator finally spoke. “Reese, are you ok? I will fail my mission if I cannot protect you.”

Did Kyle feel the same pain as the T-800 did? Yes. It was like man felt machines pain and vice versa.

Maybe somewhere in his strong beating heart, he felt the machine’s tenacity and could understand why the T-800 did what he did for his son and him.

The T-800 could not feel pain or pity but feeling Kyle’s own pain made his willingness to protect Kyle even stronger to get him home.

That own terminator did what Skynet would have never spared sympathy for the human race, changed Kyle’s own opinion on life.

Later if he survived, would he have a drastic effect on his Commander son’s role against the unmade and terminators?

How would his status on base be carried if he saw eye to eye with the machine?

Unmade took no prisoners and now was not the time to offer sympathy toward the new enemy who took the form of dark corrupted beasts.

Kyle could maybe accept a machines hand after so long and offer to stare Marcus in the eyes and accept things as they are and see the old enemy as an ally

T-800 blinked “Kyle Reese, we must depart toward our next destination. We cannot stay. “

Kyle shook off his own thoughts and hurts, slightly aching,

“Where to?”

He sighed, thoughts running through his own mind of the unmade wars ahead.

As he left, the fog cleared and the familiar light of the lighthouse started to return and spin. Perry and the other soldiers could take a slight breath of relief for now.

I leave you with this: How much pain must both enemies have to go through to eventually find peace within each other or at least a temporary lasting peace.

The unmade terminator’s head lay on the ground for dramatic effect.

[Gizmo Gear]

The Tyrant broke into pieces until all that was left was its lower torso. Its legs moved forward a bit before falling forward and going limp. As Gizmo was catching his breath after being choked and flung like a ragdoll. The lighthouse begin to shine once more as the fog cleared.

The beautiful blue sky and the sun shined down on this town once more and it was a gloomy sight still. The littered remains of the zombies and dried blood that stained this small island town. Is this place even worth living in anymore? Sure it could be cleaned and fixed up but after what had happened here would anyone be willing? Now he's starting to question what they are even fighting for if the Unmade can just ruin whatever it touches again after it is cleared out.

Then he saw a gleaming in the wreckage of the explosion. As he sees one part that still remains. The hand of the reprogrammed Terminator is still in a thumbs-up position. And from what they can tell is the largest piece of what remains beside the smoldering shrapnel. Gizmo pocketed as they turned to Kyle who introduced himself and congratulated the two.

"Thanks, it was nothing, if you two haven't knocked it out by hitting that weak point it would've been a lot harder to have done that," Gizmo said.

"I didn't even program it to sacrifice itself just to save us. Just to eliminate the zombies. It seemed to have adapted its programming just to protect us since we fixed it and it viewed us as allies." Gadget said.

"We especially didn't program him to say or know that word that's for sure that was also all him," Gizmo said.

As they all talked about this they then felt the ground shake. At first, they were worried it was another threat but it was just their Bonds reuniting with them. Gizmo and Gadget waved to the Clockwork Colossus and ran over to him to give him a hug, or at least hug his large foot. Giving the two a hand, the giant robot lifts them up onto its shoulder as the three walk away into the distance. Moving on to the next place to liberate so that the sacrifice of that robot wasn't in vain.

Ironic though, how a machine made to kill died to preserve life. There seems to be more to these terminators than they had thought at first. And perhaps not as low-tech as they originally thought compared to their robots back home. Can the same be done with other Terminators or was it a freak accident or glitch? Nevertheless, our heroes march on to fight back against the Unmade.
